Just posting this so I can say that I replayed the whole damn game to get the true ending because of how annoying it would’ve been if I just left it alone.

@@daytrexzero2784 Nope. You just need to max out Marie's Social Link before Dec 24th officially because Dec 24th is the last day to defeat Adachi. However you need to know the cut off dates:
1) Dec 21st is the last day to max out Marie's Social Link and defeat Adachi on Dec 22nd if you want the Christmas Eve.
2) Dec 23rd is the last day to max out Marie's Social Link and defeat Adachi on Dec 24th (the last day) if you missed Dec 22nd deadline.

You can do it in a NG+ later. It's worth it to me.
You gottta max out Marie's Social link apparently. I had to look it up, myself.
@@MerolaC You still can do this in first playthrough. Not necessary must be on NG+
Here's what you gotta do.
1. You have to max out Marie's social link before December 22nd. (As long as it's maxed out, you're safe.) If you were intending to date Marie, then it absolutely has to be done before December 22nd, because she disappears right after Christmas and you will miss your Christmas date chance if it's done after that.
2. On January 2nd, while you are going around greeting people for new years, go into the Velvet Room. Margaret will tell you that Marie has left, with no explanation. You HAVE to tell Margaret to find her. Otherwise you won't get those parts of the ski trip and Marie will disappear from the game because she dies. (You also won't get the true ending epilogue with everyone turning their lives around and being themselves.)
That's it. That's all you have to do. However, it's rather dumb that you have the option to just ignore Marie's disappearance. Because there's no indication that you'll get anything extra for saving her. So for a first time player, it LOOKS like it's totally optional, but it's required to get the true ending. (Which in my opinion means it isn't optional.)
