The GSA is dead....Long live the GSA !!! and a roundup of general bikes tuff... Twitter: / crotchrocket666 Facebook / crotchrocket. . Google: plus.google.co....
Thanks for update. Glad you're trying to figure a way to keep riding thru winter bc it's still better than a car commute, if you can stay dry & upright, so please, stay dry/upright. :]
It's like we're stalking each other with our journeys through bikes, but in the wrong order: I started off on an MP3 500, then went to an Aprilia Mana, now on a VFR1200X (which, I guess, is where my stalking theory kinda falls down). The MP3s are probably better than you might think, but maybe a bit cramped. Can't wait to see the abuse you'll get in the comments when you upload a video of you on the trike!
In German that issue is commonly known as "Sie alle tun das.". They do usually take care of their customers though. The only issue with mine so far is the screen adjuster knob came off in my hand and bounced down the highway. Klaus must have had a hangover that morning.
This all seems very inconvenient, you should change your name to crotchcatxx87 :D That said the bike sounds gorgeous, so hopefully this replacement bike will feel the same for you and you can get the exhaust back on and have care-free motoring
Excellent, that's what I like to hear. You talked about Winter vehicles (which seems amusing when you have an adventure bike but don't fancy it in snow, but I appreciate the weight and value), I know FloFloSpeed24 in France uses a road-legal quad when it snows, would you consider something along those lines? Be a shame for War Bastard to get dirtied up by Winter
Spectre223 ha! o don't think the bastard can get any dirtier!! You're right about having an adventure bike and not wanting to tackle snow lol!! A quad would be awesome. My dads got a Can-Am actually....perhaps he'll let me use it. I think the quad is on an old video.
Does seem a tad counter-intuitive haha. Quads would be awesome, though I'd definitely want a farm-quad type one, something road legal but wouldn't get confused by some leaf-litter, not one of those street-quad things with the low clearance and slick tyres
Sorry to hear that you've had issues with the bike. It just shows faults could happen to any brand of bikes. I'm keen to find out what the MP3 or tricity is like to live with too. Stay safe buddy.
BMW has a massive good will budget but if the dealer is on your side it can be dealt with really easily. I know of a RS that has had an issue and the same has happened, he got a new RS in replacement. BMW is a great manufacture and customer service is very high in priorities.
So I've got this right, you can reject the bike in the UK with this type of fault - amazing, it would never happen in Australia as they would just keep trying to repair within the warranty period...!!!
I dunno. Take a look at my recent videos. Like you I had spongy front brakes. Also new front suspension strut after 3500 miles. Also left handlebar switch cluster replaced. Handling was very poor when the suspension was faulty. After the new strut it all started again after 3 weeks. I traded it in for an RT last weekend as I got peed off.
+Kryten L Yeah im glad they swapped it. Although the new one is back tomorrow because the horn wont work! Exhaust is Mivv Headers and Leo Vince silencer.
Hi i have the 2016 GSA which i did the same, got off a 2013 GS. but i got a vibration above 55mpg does your? also which exhaust, Bar riser, and shifters do you have on it? Do you have Pictures of the shifter? Thanks Eddie
+Eddie Schulz No vibration above 55mph. I did, on my last 2015GS have a front end wobble because of a dodgy new tyre? ITs got ROX risers and the shifter is a Klicktronic unit.
Thanks for the info, i liked the sticker kit you installed. 4000 miles and the front tire is cupping already BUT BMW Tampa FL said it is " Characteristics of the bike" I need to move to London..HA HA Keep posting videos Hi also i am looking for a David Woods that is a Bus driver in London where would i start?
Thanks for update. Glad you're trying to figure a way to keep riding thru winter bc it's still better than a car commute, if you can stay dry & upright, so please, stay dry/upright. :]
+2ForFlinching thanks for watching!! i drove up to london the other day and it was horrible!! id definitely rather freeze on the bike!
Great to hear the BMW are being supportive.
+RigsVille Yeah they were great !
Great that they have you another one
+SuperAaron 99 yeah i was really lucky! otherwise they would have to order one and it would be mid december!

+Motorbiker I had a MP3 300!!! only for about 3 months, but i did have one :)
A fourth bike?! I might have to form an alliance with Lady Crotch to make sure the Crotch finances remain in the black xD
Good to hear they had a "no bullshit service", wish my dealer (metropolis) was the same but unfortunately they are a complete bullshit service.
Yeah I was really impressed with the dealer! Shame about Metropolis! What an arse!

Shame about it going back, but at least it was replaced, no arguments. What exhaust do you have on it, sounds lovely.
+Kryten L Yeah im glad they swapped it. Although the new one is back tomorrow because the horn wont work! Exhaust is Mivv Headers and Leo Vince silencer.
