honestly i loved the 2020 versions of clone troopers
but i will agree the knee pads were questionable
i would like it if they gave this new clone mold a gauntlet swivel
and i really enjoy how much more posable they are now
they look better crouching cuz of the new knee pads
the removable helmet i just love
and they finally added a second trigger finger which i would love for arc troopers
and other troopers that use 2 side arms
and that they added a little of every clone trooper model
the bicep swivel that for example the phase 1 purge troopers have
the new knee pads and the fact they listened to some youtubers that said it should be free to move around cuz i saw a video where someone used a exacto knife to cut it so it had some free roam
the second trigger finger
the removable helmet
the new shoulder pads
the butterfly joints work so well too
to me its a pure W of an upgrade

For sure Justin! My fav look is definitely The ROTS body and helmet as well! This trooper is beautiful and is a Masterpiece like Nate said. I'm sitting here messing around with him and I can put him in almost any position possible with no problem. Which is my greatest hope for everytime I open a new black series is to be able to have the possibility like this banger, Bravo Hasbro, Bravo!

I finally finished building new shelves and moving things around to make room for the deluge of figures I got (both TBS and TVC) during the months of Sep-Oct-Nov-Dec, so now that the holidays have passed I am now focusing on actually opening all those figures and setting them up. Must have between 50-75 figures waiting in boxes and cards piled up everywhere. After seeing this review I’m going to get to this grunt and Commander Appo right away. The new scuplts of those two got stellar reviews by you guys, and my eyes are salivating with anticipation. As always I appreciate your opinions are the bangers and the duds. Great job!

Update: OMG! You guys were absolutely 💯% correct about this Clone Trooper being pure perfection. The articulation in the arms is unlike any other figure I’ve ever seen. There’s not an angle or pose one cannot achieve. Here’s hoping Hasbro is smart enough to reuse this buck over and over and over again!
It's still a shame Hasbro hasn't completely nailed the helmet sculpt. It took them years to get the stormtrooper helmet right (and even then it's the Rogue One version that they keep using over and over) but the Phase II helmet in particular seems to be troublesome for them.
The good thing is, 3rd party helmets and other more accurate parts are more accessible to get now than ever before and that's what most customizers will end up using anyways.

Articulation is great, but the helmet still looks off and derpy. That's why Ive been hesitating to pick up a couple.
I wouldn't call it derpy, but I do prefer the purely theatrical look. -Justin
I wish they’d give them swappable heads instead of removable helmets, it’s better in proportion and can get the details better
We've always been advocates for that! We really do not like removable helmets. I like how TVC sometimes does the alternate peg/helmet/head with some of their figures. It truly does help with proportions! -Justin
Yardy knowwww I love my Clone Troopersss. On a serious note, 2023 body is an amazing upgrades and can’t wait for the P1 which I think will fix one of my only issues with this one which is, the helmet! 2023 Clone is definitely banger status

1:18 is that the rocket launcher from the jedi fallen order stormtrooper with a rocket launcher or rocket trooper i forgot the name and is the clone trooper actually holding it cuz i tried to make cluster hold it but it wouldn't as far as i remember since i got them a week before Christmas due to reasons
and i didn't want to try to force it so it wouldn't break the hand cuz it feels like soft plastic that they used for the hands ?

A1: yes that’s that rocket. I cut the piece of plastic behind the handle off so he can hold it.
2A: Yes, exactly that.
3A: the 2020 clones shoulder armor scrunches up when you move them upward.
4A: the o ring is a design for the shoulder armor, basically it’s an “O” around the shoulder pin so it moves independently of the shoulder. Older figures had the armor attached to the shoulder itself.

This trooper design is still not my favorite. I give it a 9/10 for articulation but appearance I give it a 7/10. I'm still not a fan of the helmet or how the o-ring shoulders tuck under the chest overlay. But to each his own and I'm happy for the people who really want this. Great video Nate and Justin 👏😎

Couldn't collect this year, really, but for christmas i allowed myself three figures and Appo was one of them because i wanted to experience this version of a clone and i'm so glad i did. He's a triumph. I'm legit surprised we got a left hand trigger finger from Hasbro.

The Phase II is pretty much a perfect figure. The helmet still isn’t exactly “live-action”, but thankfully the black line manages to achieve that effect. Nice one guys, kicking the new year off with a banger.

He is a banger, Nate & Justin. He really is. If you're going to put out a figure that you want collectors to army-build, it better be a good one. This figure is all gravy, guys. Articulation, sculpt, paint apps: this one has got it all. My sentiments; Order 66 all day long.

I really do love the new body, but my wallet is not looking forward to buying several different factions again on the new mold😅
At least we currently are getting a mix of old and new. Sure we have gotten a plain Phase II Clone Trooper but not really in an army building pack. Plus the Phase I 501st trooper and 187th Legion trooper.

Part of me wants them to redo all of the old troopers (Coruscant Guard, 187th Battalion, 442nd, 212th) into a better mold but part of me also doesn’t want to spend so much on figures I already have

Amazing upgrades! Definitely my favorite trooper in the line. Other than the 2020 stormtrooper. I just love the phase ll design. I do have to say….it is the best trooper in the line. Minus the face sculpt/5 o clock shadow. My opinion Ofcourse.

i take my clones to school and they have a yellow look on the white idk if its my glasses or the sun affecting the white on the armor
is their a way to reverse it and do any of your clones look kinda yellow thank uou and have a good day bois at out of the basement
White plastic will yellow over time, that's just how it is. The #1 rule is to keep them out of direct sunlight. -Justin

Aye helmet still looks shit but the rest of it I can forgive even the shoulders that I hate the new ones but again forgiveable possibility but I think cutting the o ring out and glueing a tab to the underside of the chest piece and the shoulder pad would do wonders for articulation better for

It loses a few points with me due to the matte finish armor. I like the glossy armor of the stormie and most of the older clones better personally.
Other than that, it’s awesome.
Now give us some prequel FILM characters that are NOT clones or Jedi so we can actually represent that era of the franchise in our displays please!!
Fair enough with the personal preference. I much prefer the matte finish on my CTs for whatever reason. Although I do agree with the more glossy finish on the Stormtroopers. Anakin and Padme are pre-ordered! Droideka should be the next thing revealed. The needle is starting to turn! -Justin
The new P2 Clone is without a doubt a Banger. So glad to have this in my collection since I did not have the Original. Can not wait to get a few more.
