- Great Version of 'Just An Old Fashioned Girl' on Jools Holland's 'The Happening'. I recorded this in 1991 when it was broadcast on Channel 4, but with further research I believe it was originally recorded in 1990 for BSB (British Satellite Broadcasting).
Amazing! It´s hard to take your eyes off her.....
She was 64 years old here. She was blacklisted by the CIA in 1968 for her anti-war statements about the Vietnam war.
She should have been on Broadway! Her voice is so unique and theatrical
She was on Broadway, throughout the 1970s.
She would have been on longer if President Johnson hadn't had her blackballed.

I just wish the producers of Batman had let her portrayal of Catwoman be just as flirtatious with Batman as Julie Newmar's was, especially when they are supposed to be the exact same character.
