What I did is the following: Quests and WT until I can make maple bows (preferably longbows, which is easy through the 99 fm grind) Then once you unlock Miscellania, ALWAYS keep 100% herbs, and use the remaining 50% on maples. You can get 26k exp banked every day from just turning them into unfinished longbows, 25k is more realistic. In about 28 days I banked 705k exp (12k logs) which can just be afked for a decent amount of exp/h (85-90k) VERY afk Once you've done some slayer, mining and/or zalcano to bank some smithing exp, just simply turn all your mithril, adamant and rune into dart tips. Fletch them while you're doing agility or something and you're set. If you desperately need money, just use the yews and magics you'll get from slayer drops, use temple trekking for your bowstrings and only make those. ! Even if you have the flax from drops, Temple Trekking is way, WAY faster bowstrings per hour than spinning them yourself ! The unfinished maple longbows can be alched for basically free magic exp while doing alchgility, you almost break even. Cutting trees for logs is quite useless, gp/h is terrible if you consider the entire process. You're better off killing gargoyles for an hour and cut something that has better exp and still make more money, exp and other drops. Fletching in my opinion is rather useless, you just need to unlock making the darts you need when you have your blowpipe and diaries (Not high usually UNLESS you want desert elite which is 90-91+ boost to 95) I never really did too much fletching and it's almost 96 (97 banked) at 2200 total so it'll be 99 before I max without putting much time and effort in the skill

Isn’t making darts a waste now with the blow pipe nerf? I’d much rather turn my mith/addy bars into playebodies to alch, then use that money to buy broad arrowheads for fletching xp rather than sit on a bunch of mith darts in my bank
@@monaflipas1624 Blowpipe is still a great option for a lot of things, you'll still use it plenty- although for bosses I'd recommend going for Amethyst (Painfully slow to obtain decent amount however, even on 99 mining) Adamant darts are still very good. For mithril darts, you might want to make platebodies- Making you 624gp from alchs per bar, excluding costs of runes if you don't have enough of those. The exp gains for bought packs and darts are relatively the same per bar (I got stuck in the math but I am pretty sure?) Except you're more likely to use those mithril darts for targets that are easy to kill than broad arrows. I never struggled (in fact, I have way too much) with cash on my iron, so making platebodies simply didn't add any benefit to my account at all on the long run So the main difference really in the scenario where you'd make arrows is that you're adding extra steps to the process of making shafts, headless arrows, buying packs versus slower smithing (darts are more afk, bodies are faster)

The easy fix I found was to kill skeletons in the ancient cavern for the yew bow, from there the quest can be done at pretty much any level to get the fletch xp
So ur only options are cut logs or pay for them from the kingdom damn I was just looking for a fast way to get 55 for broad so this didnt really help me out as I was looking for a fast way to get 5 lvls lol

You could always do that too! I choose to do addy and rune darts and moth plates

fletching at wintertodt is a nice way to easily get from 20 to 60-65, getting these nice bows unlocked as well as broad arrows

You can't do temple of ikov without a Yew bow at minimum ... So you basically need 65 fletching as an ironman to do that
