I noticed in "How Do I Tell a Girl I Want to Kiss Her" Brendan sings "shes not just another face" and this song is titled "just another face" both written by Brendan.
I feel like this song is a sequel to "how do I tell a girl I want to kiss her"
@@CLVS No, this song is about his struggle with mental health, while HDITAGIWTKH is about being awkward around a girl you like that doesn't like you back, not related at all probably.
@@eedfeldt4u maybe it could be a spiritual sequel, where it's calling back to the emotions that he used to feel at that time. Maybe to show how long he's been feeling this way, or to show the emotional degredation, and how he got there.

I read somewhere that HDITAGIWTKH was the first song that he ever wrote (no idea if it's true), but I do know for a fact that before he gave it that name, it was called Just Another Face. That was the first song he wrote, and then the last song he wrote on his last album is called Just Another Face. There's something beautiful about it

I used to sit and listen to Modern Baseball with my dog. She was the only thing that would give me purpose, and even though she never responded to me, she listened to me like no over did, and made me feel loved no matter what. I remember the night I lost her, I was drunk, I didn’t know what else to do other then put on music. This song played, and every time I listen to it, I believe her ghost is putting her head on my lap one more time
Modern baseball. You are and forever will be my favorite band of all time. Nothin speaks to me like ur lyrics do. Idc that youre taking a break. I still and always will listen to your music and weep when it hits so hard. Thank you for making something this beautiful. Im blessed to have been introduced to your music.
When i first got Holy Ghost I couldn't stop listening to the jake songs. But now I keep listening to the Brendan ones and I gotta say this is one of the best written songs I've ever heard. I listen to this performance at least once a day now

This will forever be my favorite song, it helped me so much and pushed me to start working on my mental health, to all of those struggling right now, you can get through, there's always gonna be that part of you, you have to learn to work with it, you sadly can't just get rid of it. Remember, you are important, you are worth being here, and as Bren would say, your not just another face

These songs in particular by Mobo always hit me in the feels. Used to love em back in early 2017. Can't believe it's been nearly 2 years. Time really does fly. Although over time I feel like I truly understand this song more so than when I first heard it... Sometimes it really feels like everything is against you...

Brendan and jakes voices are so fucking spot on. Why do they not have more of a following? Such perfect and relatable lyrics with beautiful voices to follow up on. One of my favorite bands of all time.

We should've noticed after they dropped Perfect Cast and only one Bren song was about girls
It's one of these things where, in retrospect you're like "yeah that was completely obvious". I mean, Bren's songs on Holy Ghost paint a pretty good picture about how they're doing. Even some of Jakes as well
Saw them back in Ithaca with TFB and Brand New, unashamedly was put to tears. They're really incredible and I wish them the best.

This song means so fucking much to me. I got diagnosed with bipolar disorder about a year ago. I attempted suicide once and thought about it for days for weeks for years. If any of you are struggling please reach out for help. The world is a better place with you in it.

Get well Brendan, I feel you. I read the lyrics of this song and it helps me to recover from MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER. I used to listen to this and CHARLIE BLACK last year before I sleep and to tell you the truth, MOBO songs help me to understand what I really feel (anger, identity crisis, insecurities, sadness, too much negativity, unexplainable nervousness and hopelessness).
