Hey the guy that programmed my new fob wasn’t able to get the remote start to work.my car is equipped with th necessary hardware but he couldn’t get it to work.any advice???I have a 13 Cadillac ATS base model.
No check engine light is not on the key fob that I bought the car with didn’t have the remote start button but I took my car to the Cadillac dealership and the parts center told me based on my vin number my cars original fob is supposed to be the one with remote start.

Is not that the battery is dead. If the battery is dead you’re not gonna be able to lock and unlock the doors with the remote. I’m having the same problem with the 2014 Cadillac ATS. The smart key is programmed but the proximity is not synchronized. You only start the car by letting the key in the slot. I tried with the xtool, lonsdor, xhorse mini obd, and none of them worked. I programmed with SPS and worked.

Why you went through all keys lost instead of adding key? Lets suppose during this process both key won’t be programmed. So, how do u reset back customer key?
I did all keys lost because the keys were stolen so i didnt want them to steal the car ..in most cases it doesnt let you add if yiu dont have a programmed key so your obligated to reset immmo and do all keys lost

@@josangcal4618 ok do this dig in your settings and try to turn it on .. setting should be around the dash or steering wheel ..see if it's activated..

The pad2 x100 is really outdated no eeprom no kc100 precoder ...cant do newer chevrolet models or remotes... the autopropad has alot new updates !!!

Yes sir customer had a bad battery car started like normal after he replaced it..
Have you used any Xhorse proximity keys on these cars?
