- Saat Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) dan ibunya (Taraji P. Henson) pindah dari Detroit ke Cina, Dre merasa asing di dunia yang sangat berbeda dari dunianya yang biasa. It takes it a very brave and strong person to stand up against bullies. Took me 3 years of martial arts training, to defeat my high school bully.

That's why I shake my head when people go "just hit your bully, he'll stop." Well... bullies generally tend to pick on smaller kids that CANT beat them up. So that is the worst advice ever. But hats off to you for doing something about it and learning to defend yourself properly, I had to do the same.
I honestly wish that I learned martial arts as a kid. Its one of the reasons why I'm joining the Air Force soon, to learn at least SOME fighting techniques that I'll expand upon in due time. :)
It took me 3 long years of letting it happen I had more strength than my bullies and a lot more intelligence in using it thrn they did but my school would always make sure I got punished for defending myself and not them for hurting me or others. Until one day I told myself it’s time to end it and I told my mom and dad that morning I’m getting expelled today I’m finally gonna do what I should’ve done a long time ago and on that very day I brought down my 3 bullies they didn’t come out without injuries they each come out with something broken and I got suspended for a month since they confessed to all the bruises I showed my teachers and the bruises on my friend and other classmates

Perfectly believable that a kid with a broken leg could lift it up and then do a backflip. 🤔
The only believable thing about this movie is Dre Parker doesn't have a dad
It's painful but possible if you have trained your lower half but I didn't see any intensive training about it in the movie.
Unless he had prior experience to it. He spoke about breakdancing or something earlier in the start of his training arc I think. Probably he speaking bs tho...
