you know, i saw those damn uzis floating in the air but didnt think for a second id be able to jump and climb up onto an invisible platform to loot them. i thought it was just bug and they were unobtainable. thats insane.

I have to say, your British accent really suits the live commentary. Nice to have a little memory refresh before I buy that game again - still have the original discs. I'll wait for another couple of bug fixes, I noticed a lot of people have complained about the clumsy camera not following the action (I noticed this in the swimming parts of your video), and the reduced contrast/lighting that makes some parts harder to figure out than it should be, IE not seeing keys. That said, I will buy and marathon it at some point, with enough patience I'm sure there will be a price drop that's going to sucker me back in.

the camera is behaving the same exact way it did back then. i could see how its jarring since we're used to much more refined cameras in games these days but i honestly like how they kept its original jankiness. you get to appreciate the OG experience

I first played these games when I was 12ish and absolutely loved them, so ofc I had to buy the remasters. I'm finding it easier this time around, but it still manages to make me jump to this day. The lighting issues are something I noticed too, it's too dark in places and I sometimes have to switch to the OG graphics to see objects I need to pick up. The keys are something I find I'm missing like 50% of the time. I'll run over one and not spot it if it's kind of coloured like the floor its sat on.
It's good that you're finding them easier! Yeah, luckily I haven't missed too many items along the way but others I know who are playing have said they have been stuck for a long time 🥴
