It's been a long while since I last heard this song, but it (and Fly Over States) just resonates with me right more now than ever. It makes me rethink me being able to visit a friend of the family's farm every year when I was a kid (whose house was painted purple no less) from just a nice road trip to a LUXURY due to with all the stuff I got to do at that farm (such as ride in the John Deere combine). While I've lived in the city almost my entire life, I'm still thankful for having been born and raised in the US state of Iowa, which is one of the main producers for beef, pork, chicken, corn, and dairy product for the US. Without farms, there's no cheeseburgers, pork ribs, fried chicken, eggs, or steak. It also means no chocolate milk, icecream, custard, donuts, croissants, and most importantly to many of you, NO BACON (though personally I prefer ham & cheese sandwiches). It’s amazing that we have a man that actually sings the truth and sheds light on the criminals ! And as soon as he does everything he sings about is contested by media, and the politicians . Speaks volumes because if they take punches at him they would squish most like bugs . All for him being honest and sympathetic to the most important people on our planet .( THE FARMERS)
Its almost like cable installation. You have change your perspective when doing that type of work...its not what you make an hour or any of that bullshit, its what you can make out of the day.
Alex Mikels Im not putting down any of those jobs man. The simple point is most people dont even know where there food comes from. Besides most military and firefighters are praised by local people. You dont here a peep about a farmer...Try farming 500 acres.

My family had to sell the last one in the family about 10yrs ago, now I'm lost, my entire happiness was this, I thought I never miss the feeling of being put through the ringer as much as do, trades work is good but nothing beats being up on that damn old Ford tractor. Not to mention always fighting with the oil leaks, still remember what everyone said, was hoping it was gonna get passed to me but I was always told it'll only get worse from here, think it's hard and bad now you haven't seen the worst to come. Courtney Whipple Thank you my daughter she a farmer she works for sunny brook farm
i am a farmer. thanks
Using this as my walk up song for baseball this year! Still my favorite Jason Aldean song
hows your season going man??
Wish I was there to see that entrance. Best to you young man!
The intro makes this song so much more powerful..
It really does
I've lived in Rantoul, IL, it's mostly farms with a Walmart and a few bars and gas stations. These young farmers are the backbone of the Rantoul economy, God bless them in this drought and pray they can hold on. Bless you all.
Rock'n Rantoul-e-o
I’m from northern Fulton County and it’s very similar here. My family settled the land my grampa lives on and I hope to take it over someday. The life never truly leaves you.
Would be cool to see where those young men are now. God Bless our Farmers and their children and let them live to see those dreams come true. No matter what he is just going to take the tractor another round.
I saw an article somewhere not too long ago that they are all still going strong! :) Pretty great!!
+Jessie Johnson 👍 YES
They are all still farming and going stronger than ever
People I respect the most. Farmers and soldiers
Sold the Wisconsin farm 12 years ago, miss it every day. Wish I had appreciated it more when I was a kid. We still live rural on a ranch but it's not the same.
I wish Jason would remake this and show the original clips and then where they are now🤯
I was born and raised on a farm and really miss it. Don't disrespect the farmers...Farming is what feeds your ass !! Corn, Wheat, Beef, Pork, etc. Jason Aldean is singing about the farming life, the hardships, the respect, and love for the farm. You would have to be a farmer to really understand this song....
Amen!
+3NTINV Worked a dairy farm when I was younger....incredibly hard work with long hours and liitle pay or respect from those that dont know or appreciate what the farmers do for our country.
+3NTINV Much of my childhood involved taking the tractor another round. I was lucky to grow up on a farm in Missouri.
Hi
This is an amazing way to show how hard farmers work. God bless them.
Thank you to all the farmers out there.
Matt Seifert your welcome sir
your welcome as well farming until I die
You are welcome and god bless America and you
This song always makes me think of my daddy, he’s a fourth generation farmer, he’s 53 and still works from 4 am to 9 pm everyday except Sunday.

You should take over the farm don't sell off
Love this song. Definitely one of Jason Aldean's best. And thank you to all of those folks out there that own and operate farms and ranches throughout this awesome country. Yall are the heartbeat of America. We couldn't do it without you, and yall don't get the respect and acknowledgement you deserve. I'm studying mechanical engineering now, but it's my dream to join the farming community someday.
One of the best songs ever. I've been in FFA for 3 years and 4H for 5. Farming is my life. I have a 25 acre farm. I've lived on it all my life. And for all you city folk that look down on us farmers just remember where your food comes from
Thank you Jason for this song! Played it at my daddys funeral service during the pictures slideshow. That was my daddy. ❤
Thanks And Respect To The Farmers. One Of Jason's Best Songs. Wonder Whatever Happened To Those Boys?

beautiful days.
If not for our farmers, we do not eat! Showe them the respect they deserve.
The steel guitar line in this song is incredible. God Bless our Heartland !
Still love this song no matter how old. Aldean did a great job reppin for the hard working farmers that keep this country fed!
Hardest work on earth takes place on a FARM. Its just become a forgotten piece of society.
Its almost like cable installation. You have change your perspective when doing that type of work...its not what you make an hour or any of that bullshit, its what you can make out of the day.
Yeah, fuck those high class companies, a Farm is actual work.
Im pretty sure you have never like been a firefighter or in the military service. Because you know thats some of the hardest work on earth.
Army 11b
Alex Mikels Im not putting down any of those jobs man. The simple point is most people dont even know where there food comes from. Besides most military and firefighters are praised by local people. You dont here a peep about a farmer...Try farming 500 acres.
way back when my papa use to do 20,000 acres by himself I heard that and relised why he died at the age of 63 yesterday god bless people who do that much work
I officially took over today I still see footprints in the green house....might make this the official song of the farm (bet that will be a first
rainx21 outdoorsman cmt fshrj
rainx21 outdoorsman respect to him.
rainx21 outdoorsman, praying for you. Hope you have recovered from it.
You sure you don’t mean 2,000
Who is still listening in 2025🎉
MEE! This song continues to play in my head year after year 15 years strong!💪
Jason Aldean changed and if you say no you weren't a country fan when he came out then he was actually true country before he went total pop country
Yours are beautiful as you look, thanks for your sincere compliment, I would always give appreciation to my dedicated fans like you🌹🌹🎸🎵🎶
best country song in the last 15 years or so to me
What people don't understand is that country people are one of the hardest working people in the world and people wont get that through there think skulls until they have been put in the position.
it's sad so much of America dont have a single clue the farmer is the back bone of the American economy.
+Kyle Mawhorter so true!
+Cole Weber and our truckers are too
+Kyle Mawhorter City people think the grocery store fairy is what restocks their shelves...have no clue where their food comes from!
Exactly!!
Don’t forget ur freight train engineers and truckers without them that food doesn’t get to the grocerey stores
Jason you are awesome! You respect all Americans! Keep doing what you do 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I saw him in concert and this song is a great song after all these years in 2009
I want to thank you jason. for givimg me what I am so thankful for the farmers,as they help us,all, and give. Bless you.

What?
This song makes me cry cause of my Papa. He was a farmer all his life in Texas. His CB handle was plowboy. God I miss that man.
@@zhangyong1327 why you pretending to be him? You should be ashamed.
2024 checking back in, 6 years later.
I can't believe this song will be 20 years old next year. The boys in the video are in their late 30s-early 40s.
Right here
Song still hits home.
Yes it does
Been checking in since 2008
I grew up on a farm and I think we need to appreciate the farmers in the world.
I also have PKU a medical disability so I can't eat meat, dairy, peanuts, and have to weigh food out and can only have a certain amount in a day.So every day I work my butt off for all the people that have PKU.
Yours are beautiful as you look, thanks for your sincere compliment, I would always give appreciation to my dedicated fans like you🌹🌹🎸🎵🎶🎼
Jaming this now as it's about to storm #texasdrought2022 GOD bless all our cowboys 🐄 🤠 and farmers
Met Jason Aldean back in 2005 when he released his first album. Nice guy! Met him at Walmart in Warner Robins, GA. He was there for CD and autograph signing.
When did we forget...
One of the best Jason aldean songs
What a great song. Such originality and thoughtfulness in the lyrics
Yours are beautiful as you look, thanks for your sincere compliment, I would always give appreciation to my dedicated fans like you🌹🌹🎸
Thank you Jason for this tribute to our hard-working farmers who keep this country going. We should be thanking you every time we sit down at the table to eat because if it weren't for our farmers, here wouldn't be any food. Love you brothers and sisters ❤️ and send you Light ❤😊
I’m bout to be 16 the 28th of December and this song is my favorite and has been every since I was little. I love this song so much
Now that I’m 16 today I realized that time flies by quick
Most modern country is junk, but this song has soul about American pride in agriculture. No doubt my favorite song ever.
GOD BLESS ALL THE AMERICAN FARMERS ALL ACROSS THE U.S.
Isaiah Pahlau amen
I really don't know how they continue day after day and then I think-my grandparents and their parents and on back did it all with not much more than their bare hands and a mule or two. It just boggles the mind...
They don’t grow we don’t eat.
You aint ever gonna cancel aldean period.
Lord I never complain! I never ask why! Please don't let my dreams run dry!.... All he's ever known... Take that tractor another round.... Hell yeah
Me gusta esta música, No entiendo mucho, un saludo a todos los rancheros y agricultores, 🇲🇽 🇺🇸
Such a great heartfelt early song I love, hope he never stops the great songwriting, stories, melodies,it magigical
@JassonAldeanmusic love that Jason Aldean is teaming up with ( us vets from 911,hero) toby keith, coming back from the " almost dead" but not gone, nor forgotten, as we in the military,( those who had any sense, who served after 911, and other wars) in a small town, and in the military, we take care of business,of our own.the many great inspirational songs of Toby's, ( all American, American oldier) and Jason's many great songs about hard working people across the usa who never had anything hand3d to them, unlike the gen z,who expect respect, not earned, everything handed to them, ,can't handle adversity, criticism, or hard work.too much radicalization, ignorance ( like libs, dems supporting hamas terrorists, in congress,we need to send them to iran, see how much they will support hamas then when they are thrown in iranian prisons, tortured
That’s the barn on my grandparents farm at 2:54
Great song, I own a farm that’s been in my family since 1840. Thanks Jason!
I honestly didn't care, I wanted it, I wanted the challenge.
The respect I have for farmers still working is so deep I couldn't know where begin my thanks for everything so I'll simply say this.
Thank you for taking care of my family.
Your family sold their last slave?
Songs been around for a while but I finally connected to it and appreciate it...thanks JA for believing in it and putting it out. Please don't stop singing it at concerts.
GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN FARMER !! THANK YOU SALUTE
Yours are beautiful as you look, thanks for your sincere compliment, I would always give appreciation to my dedicated fans like you🌹🌹🎸🎤🎤🎼🎼🎸🌹🌹🌹🌹
I have nothing but respect for our farmers of America. With that being said, I'm serving in America's Navy, and I never complain I never ask why, but please dont let my wife's paycheck run dry, because my babies need that money to build their own future as best they can underneath, underneath a United States of America sky
Yes thank you and if we didn't have the people who didn't do service for us then we wouldn't be a strong country. Thank you🙏👏🇺🇸
Amen Brother!
thank you for your service!
10-4 good buddy my dad was in the usmc
Casey Jones
I really wanted to join the Marines instead of the Navy but in true devil-dog fashion they could only guarantee me one job: we can make you a Marine! Hoorah.
I cant imagine the ppl farming right now with the price of shit! But God bless em and thank you farmers! Someone certainly has to do it.
Timeless so good as good the 10,000th time as the first I stand with you Jason keep your head up we know who you are and have always stood for LOVE IT!!!
In my opinion the two types of people that deserve the most respect are: 1. Our Soldiers 2. Farmers, basically the guys who bust their asses for us. I support agricultural 100%
+lemkelegion I completely agree with you there
