I work as a deputy sheriff and we have a couple small towns in my county that don't have a town cop. One night I responded to call of a drunk man trying to break into his ex-girlfriends house. Long story short, I ended up getting in a fight with the suspect on the side of the road at 1 a.m. and the suspect tried to take my gun. A lifted truck just happened to be driving by when they suddenly stopped and three guys got out and pinned the suspect down while I cuffed him. Then, they just hopped in their truck and left. No one needed to document the incident on camera. They didn't have to think about what was the right thing to do. They saw a need and met it. Love my community.
And then everyone clapped

My father was in the Marine Corp for 31 years. There were at times that he was gone for long times and then short times. I missed him and so did my siblings and mother. We got there in time to stop it......

We have a very similar attitude to the lyrics of this song where I’m from in the north of England in a small working class town and we are getting similar happenings in this country too. I will not just stand for it when it comes to my home. I’ll dig my heels in the ground and give blood if I have to.

Each of us got our education in small schools, small colleges, prospered, became successful and prominent members of society. I can relate to your lyrics . Also if any of us ever got out of line we knew we would be in more trouble when we got home. It's all in how your raised by your Mom and Dad. Respect your parents, respect authority, respect your teachers, respect your elders.
