I can hear things that make other people question my sanity meantime it is their fridge that changed the way it sounds and two days later the fridge broke; for example. So yes clubs and loud places are sensory overload situations especially where they are the light also keeps changing. Social situations and norms are also hard. I can understand how he acted because he did not understand the social norms in his owm American culture, now he is in a new environment with new social norms that are even harder for him I don't think he means to lie I don't think he knows how to say the right words at the right time. I also see her side, because she had expectations and he didn't have the words or the understanding of how to act and how to pick up on her expressions sometimes even words. I struggle with understanding when people's words and their actions are different and I dont always know what people expect of me. I think it is really hard for a neurodivergent person to be in a relationship with a neurodivergent person nevermind a neurotypical person from another culture. I really dont think he means to be dishonest at all on purpose. Communication is key. What could help her is to research autism and what might help him is to say what he is thinking and why as it happens. I don't know. You used me! 😂❤
