    Hi Tammi, that is very good to know about the mat may come up and how to fix it. I have wondered how long the die blades will last. Last night I ordered the Companion Corners for my 6” Qube. I finally will have one complete set. I want to make the Arkansas Crossroads block so bad. I did figure out how to make the X block but that was too much work 🤣. AccuQuilt has spoiled me 😊. I used the 25% off coupon plus all my rewards point and got it down too $88.00 plus shipping and tax was $102.00 and some change. So I saved $58.00 and I was happy. Now to find the patience till it gets here 🥰. You have a fabulous evening and I will look forward to your next video. 😊

    Great video! Thank you!
    For some odd reason, I'm unable to see the thumbs up icon below your video; I can see a number and to the right is a thumbs down but not a thumbs up to the left of the number. Just thought I'd let you know in case it matters.
    Thanks again though for your video - very helpful!

    Yep, proper care while using and storage is key...just like any other die cutting system, they will last a very long time and definitely get your money's worth in them.

    That painter’s tape little corner piece is a great idea for remember,being to rotate! I try to remember just to purchase some new mats when there is a good sale! I did notice when I cut some fun foam letters for my young granddaughter last Christmas to help her learn spelling that the marks were see little more prominent on a new mat probably because of the thickness but the foam cut nicely! Just curious - with the mat thst split - is it possible or even OK to keep using the larger side of the split for smaller dies or just a smaller part of a larger mat?

      Hey Sandy👋🏽. Thanks for commenting. I love that you stepped out of the quilting box and used your AQ dies for foam letters! To answer your question. Absolutely not! Once the mat is split like that, it’s not safe to use nor does it work. I just keep it for historical purposes 😂. I agree with you. The best thing to do is stock up on the mats when there’s a good sale 😉. I appreciate your support and will see you in the next video 😊👋🏽

    Any thoughts on what to do when the die separates from the green case?

    • @TammisStitches
      @TammisStitches  Місяць тому

      Hi Lynne, thanks for your question 😊. I would consider using something like Gorilla glue. Place/spread it throughout the bottom of the inside of the green case. Then insert the wood/board with the blades facing up (be very careful) inside the green case, then place the foam on top. Follow the directions on the Gorilla glue as far as how long it takes to dry. Hope that makes sense. I’ll see you in the next video 😊👋🏽
