I revisited 2 videos today, this one and ifb one just to get smt more out of my ifbs in my tactic to understand what can i do more, and like voila eventhough i watched 2 videos of yours before like months ago revisiting today made me realized what i should do with one of my 442 lacking creativitiy on offensive end, i will try as soon as i get home today. Thanks Daljit.
Great instructional video as always. I used to use underlapping very often, but lately I have gone without any instructions in that regard and give my players the option.
I would love to see one of these on midfield roles. I know that if we're running a midfield three we should have one sitter, one runner, and one attacker, but struggle in choosing which role leads to what kind of play. In particular, the BTB and the BWM seem very similar.
Daljit, I’m a fan of yours living in Korea. I enjoy watching your videos and thanks to you, I have a better understanding of the Football Manager game. I have a question that is unrelated to the topic of this video. In the skin I use, it displays the fluidity of the opponent’s tactics during the game, but does the fluidity logic applied to the AI work differently from the players? For example, in a general tendency, if you assign a defensive task to three players, it is set to organizational fluidity, but there are cases where the AI is not. I’ve even seen it set to fluid fluidity. Do you know why this is? Another thing I’m curious about is that I remember that in the past, fluid or more was suitable for implementing football based on short passes. Is this still valid in recent works? Or has fluidity become a tactical item that no longer needs to be considered as important as before? Once again, I want to thank you for the good videos you’ve posted and I look forward to your future videos. :)
Ooh my very first Korean post as far as I can tell.!!!! Fluidity was important prior to FM17, back then we used it to tell how many players would move up to support play or not. However since FM17 it’s stopped being relevant or even important for players. The AI algorithms use it for setting up its tactics based on the attributes and preferred systems for the AI teams. To some extent it’s used by the AI to advise us too, but since SI introduced Positional Play feature it’s been more irrelevant. I never bother with it. In the old days in a structured set up those attacking duties would never come back. Today attacking duties do come to help us defend, so fluidity has stopped being useful.
qn. on a “positive” mentally, if i use underlap on my W(s), his mentality will drop from “Very Attacking” to “Attacking”. my mezz(A) will fill the half space. BUT if i play W(a), his mentality stays/remains “Very Attacking”. does my mezz(A) still fill the half space?
Risk. The only on attacking duty will prioritise the runs and his starting position will be even higher than a support duty because his mentality is higher.
Would playing with High Tenpo and Look For Overlap be contradictory then? Would you also say that a wide attacking player and right back/wing back should NOT both be on Attack?
To an extent yes, too high a tempo and players may not wait for the run. No to your second question, because one can put them both on attack if you are willing to tolerate the higher risk. Many players add an overlap or underlap in this case since it modifies the behaviour of the player in midfield.
Does improving training facilities hurt performance until upgrades are completed? Similar to coach on course? My players have completely forgotten how to play. I am about to be fired!!!

That's great to hear you're finding new ways to improve your FM game!
@@BusttheNet Yeah exactly, it's always a good reminder to get back and get your insight once again and think further based on that.
Great instructional video as always.

I use underlapping less and less since I upped the use of IFBs

Interesting watch. Really well explained. Thanks
Otimo video, confirma o que eu já imaginava... vejo muita gente confundindo essas instruções ou invalidando em alguns sistemas.
Very useful information thank you :)
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks ❤❤
Support!
nice video...
Thanks

Wow thank you! See you in the next video. Have a great day!
Nice guide.
Btw, when to tweak tempo and passing directness in the game?

Your Mezzala will still work the halfspace because that role is hardcoded to play in the halfspace
on the flip side to this , How would you take advantage of a team overlapping or underlapping?
Direct passing no work ball into box with wingers or IFs on attack duty
thanks for the video. If I choose overlapping, whats the difference for a wing back between support and attack duty ?
Risk. The only on attacking duty will prioritise the runs and his starting position will be even higher than a support duty because his mentality is higher.
It’s meta for volante

Hello, what are the five instructions that you think are important in a tactic. Thank you
This all depends on how you want to play. There isn’t one formula for all
@@BusttheNet thank you

They shouldn’t, player performances sometimes take a dip entering transfer windows when players increasingly look outside the clubs for offers
Regen GK?
