HAHAHHAH Loved the sneaky opening shot in the water sun tanned bottoms. Just noticed the front of your scoop has little cuts in each panel. Whats the reason for that?
Sneaky ehh :-), the slots are to catch chains as they will normally fall off and back into the sand. The groves are V shaped so the chain slides in and stays there. Worked well a few times. Just need more :-)
@@SandyToesDetecting I'll have to try that with my new extreme titanium scoop. I'll be hitting the beaches for the first time in almost a year due to lock down in hong kong. Im like a cat on a hot tin roof sooo excited.
@@ScubaGuy I used a dremel to cut the V's in not to big at opening, only 2mm max. My beaches are really bad with so few finds as people just are not allowed to come to beaches and they were closed until recently. Still when the sand moves out, I am hoping that there will be plenty of previous years drops.
:-) Thanks. The sights on the beach in the early hours are sometimes wonderful. Add a few rings and a great sunrise into the mix and its a perfect day.
Nice hunt and gotta love the dental floss thongs 🖒. Do you have much competition in your area hunting. You do well often,Here if a ring gets dropped its in a scoop with in 30 minutes....
Yes the dental floss was a killer :-) Yes loads and loads of competition, though strangely not today. Some days its standing room only on the beach/water with competition.
Top stuff again.
