Ultralight Hunting Tent Review - Seek Outside Guardian
Вставка
- Опубліковано 16 жов 2024
- This review features the Guardian, an ultralight tipi tent built by Seek Outside. This two-person trekking pole tent shelter features two vestibules, zipperless doors, inner nest with bathtub floor and stove jack. The nest is ideal for keeping bugs out in the early season and avoiding condensation in wet conditions. Hunter Scott Reekers tested this tent out on a high country deer hunt.

I feel like once i need a bigger heavier tent with a stove jack it would make sense to go up the Cimeron or bigger. I like this over the eolus but for 3 season it’s quite a bit heavier.
Good video. Well done
What type of stove do you recommend with that tent?
For that Shelter I would go with the small option from Seek Outside.
Can you use the stove while you’re using the nest?
Absolutely you can, just monitor how close it is to the nest.
We do not recommend it. The mesh on the nest doesn't have a high heat resistance and you have. high risk of damaging the material.
So you can use the nets with the stove jack?
No. On their website it explicitly says you cannot use the nest with a stove.
The cimarron also can use a liner. Also the zipper on the cimarron is covered by a zipper flap. Get your facts straight before you post.
simmer down Francis
Hey Justin, fully aware of that, however based on shape/size the Guardian is going to be the one I would use that option with. The way they Guardian also has the floored nest as a primary option is a standout feature.
