It's totally fine to wash electronics in water AS LONG AS THEY'RE UNPLUGGED. You just have to make sure it's 100% dry when you power it on, or you'll fry it. You take a bath with your laptop, and it would be fine as long as the battery wasn't connected and you dried it out properly.

The reason why the water shit works is cause anything electronic is water resistant except a battery cause it causes a short circuit, a keyboard doesn’t have a battery so as long as it’s dry when it’s connected to a power source, it’ll be fine

Generally it's dangerous to put water on a keyboard but modern gaming keyboards are built to prevent liquid from fully destroying the keyboard as long as the keyboard is powered off you can safely wash it even with some light dish soap it can fully clean a keyboard of course wash any soap away and let it fully dry before plugging it in and playing because if you don't the circuit board will short circuit from the water you can pretty much clean any electronic with water just be very careful and make sure it's completely off and you separate any pieces added on (like a motherboard) you do that it's perfectly safe to wash a keyboard with running water.

Water will only short circuit a device whilst electricity is running through it. Washing the keyboard then ensuring it is 100% dry before use is more than reasonable.
