It's good to know that it isn't just Nijisanji that sucks, but their audience does too.
This mostly proves that Nijisisters don't stan their talents but stan the company instead.
Also this has been proven to be the case for a while now.
While i will have to admit, not EVERY niji fan is a two faced lunatic, some do just stick to the talents cause they truly value them alone...i think ever since Niji started losing its older and more favorite talents like Pomu, Mika, Nina, Mysta and especially Selen...the only ones who stick around are just those who refuse to admit Niji/Anycolor does...really dumb shit and God forbid they see one of the talents make the slightest bad tasting remark
Looking at the whole situation with the one girl, Brightshield...i think thats her name...
And their producers
That is nothing new though, is it?
Something that's been known for a long while
I will reiterate that, as Amalee said, purchasing a sample track and then building out your own music from that foundation is pretty common and perfectly acceptable amongst music artists. Writing an entire musical piece from scratch is a daunting task, which becomes much easier if you at least have some kind of template to start from. That’s what one of these samples can provide.
true.samples also help beginner music producers to learn and make their own song.though, for how much money Niji has im somewhat surprised the producer uses sample instead of from scratch.
@@EpicBattleToaster even producers that have been around for decades use samples. it's not a beginner thing. a good 85-90% of music in the last 15-20 years has been based off of samples.
@@AKStovall And i argue the other 15-10% Are straight up copy, at least in Pop Music
Amalee is based and hot as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Not at all important but my all time favorite song is Out of Time by the Weeknd, which its entire background track is sampled from Midnight Pretenders by Tomoko Aran. Weeknd did that song major justice and I think both songs are so amazing in their own ways.
How are you going to try and enforce a claim saying you own something BEFORE you do the bare minimum to check if you actually own it.
They’ve never listen and didn’t hear about Copyright laws and they’ve still blew it
Perhaps canceling NIJISANJI like cancelling MrBeast is a thing now
@@jimmytsunami5275 yeah I saw and heard about Mr Beast Reputation is ruined

Shouldn't the "FURTHER REVIEW" come before the copyright claim?
Edit: They didn't even have to reach out to Claynosaurs, they could've reached out to Diego who they already have an easy line of communication with.
More like they should have gone to Diego first anyway. Wasn't that guy the one who made the song in the first place...? Shouldn't he have a say in what direction the copyright claim for his part of the work should head towards, to some small degree...? And confirm other details such as source to make sure the company didn't end up getting scammed with something ripped from somewhere else somehow instead? Which would have turned up all of that other info that they both sampled from the same source and cleared everything up...?
@@gaerekxenos Your asking for a company to atually be competent nd not be a bunch of college students working part time.
Since in Japan they love to destroy every person who brokes their copyright law even by a slight margin then this type of behaviour doesn't surprise me at all, it could've been done by any other JP company, ahem, Nintendo, ahem.
Blaming victim for their silence even though they're proved to be innocent is such a bully thing to say.
Don’t care they apologized. The whole thing reeks of incompetence. My opinion on Niji is worsening by the incident
Kurosanji has already managed to break through several layers of "rock bottom" to the point that the phrase means nothing when applied to them. It's just a matter of waiting until the company is under new management who will make it competent and able to grow again, or it goes bankrupt like it quite well deserves.
@@kannonball5789I would say them going bankrupt is more likely then someone new taking over.
Who would even want Nijisanji as a company? Their name is tanished and their most loyal fanbase is pretty toxic.
I'm of the opinion that Claynosaurz demanded a public apology given the amount of grief Vox caused them as well as Niji filing a copyright claim. Had Niji gone through the level of embarassment would have been very high as they would have not only lost the court case but it would have been something of an international incident as Claynosaurz is a Canadian company
@@kannonball5789 i dont think anyone would take over it unless they want to go under a new name or something. idk.
the kicker to me is the fact that even their JP Branch isn't doing as well as it used to because they've been losing talents.
Because it’s a burning yacht that Riku Tazumi refuses to sell
@@jimmytsunami5275 Riku be like "If I throw enough play buttons at the fire it will eventually go out"
Well, if they didnt encourage Oshi Tribalism with their structure of popular IP merch wise marketeting being pushed only (Compared to Hololive treating the TALENTS as IDOLS and the fans a community) that they happened to hire a "Liver" for........the Fans wouldnt have migrated out with their Oshi's with Pomu,Selen,Nina,Mysta, and Mika accounting for 2/3 of the Active peak CCV , 2/3 of the "Whales" and "Super Whales" that would do things like travel around the world for live Concerts like AnEx (which Dokis, Mints,Mataras, and Michi's meets were packed at AnEx....so.......)
I love when a company as large as Nijisanji doesn't have a *single* person in their management smart enough to "Just talk". They could literally *just talk* to the people, or to the musician who made Vox's song. It would literally have taken less time and effort to send a single email to either party. Or even both parties. But no, basically everyone (except the original musician), including Vox himself, is so ass-backwards in their sense of self-worth that they instantly think "this is about me", without considering the slightest chance they could be wrong.
companies built around producing maximum profits for minimal money, typically don't do any of that.
The fact that Vox basically did the same thing Selen did... and they actually apologized for it instead of sending him packing... "there is no favoritism in Nijisanji" of course not when you're the favorite...
"Upon further investigation" should have investigated further before even doing a copyright claim. Huge L man.
Literaly, "Shoot first, ask later"
I have this feeling NIJISANJI has been relentlessly receiving Ls to the point that next year will be the year that AnyColor will file for bankruptcy
I would wish for it, but Riku surely finds a way to press enough money out of it, to sustain it. It's like the Ubisoft Store. Even though the Stock only went down from 2018/2019 onward it still took over 5 Years until know, that they are realy in trouble.
@@renectonr.6723 Japan is in a middle of an economic crisis, generally these companies profit more on times of crisis but the basic requirement to thrive in these time periods is to not fuck up in any color/shape/way (shitty pun intended)
I hope
UA-cam deleted my comment :skull:
Riku will try to run with the money but the rest of the employees should drag him down with the company as he thinks he's untouchable but falls to his career's demise
Imagine thinking your such a big deal that your first instinct is indignation and publicly making a jerk of yourself instead of privately inquiring and investigating before trying to tear down others
Only to find out you were not only incorrect but acted out against others for no reason and go “Oops, my b bro”
Nijisanji never stops to think…
Especially Vox! He's the same jerk who said they're no bullying in Nijisanji when he is one of the BIGGEST talents in that black company! So of course he's pompous
Yeaah my thoughts exactly. The whole incident is really just embarrassing tbh, like it's such a stupid and unprofessional move to do all that publicly and then being wrong as well.
They hire highschool and College Interns and just throw them into the job with the "sink or swim" model with no supervision (Just Mass firings after Feb 5th-Feb14,2024 of the Interns😹...and probably no credit for school)
Yeah, Its a new Semester so Vox's new manager for the semester semester or the new crew in legal/compliance jump the gun
Its what you get for $8 an hour with little to no training or supervision (Matara mentioned her Manager was 1/3 her age easy...even Selen mentioned her manager was a kid , same for Michi )
@@FrarmerFrank Yeah it’s insane, but even at that, Vox being a grown adult should’ve taken the time to look into it if nothing else before popping off with a negative public message imo
@@april2664 Absolutely, could’ve used that time and energy to message the person responsible for the music track or have his manager do so and see first
It shows a lack of forethought, maturity, and self-control sadly imo
Vox starting off with the "WTF" reply instead being professional and reaching out first is ridiculous. And this, of course, riles up his fans who start lashing out in every direction.
This type of BS has to stop as it makes this already terrible looking company look even worse.
Bro they’re so quick to make assumptions without going deeper. It’s weird.
Wouldn't be the first time or second, I think.
Remember, they thought it was a-okay to reveal the private documents, thus the Black Screen stream happened. They though all laws are the same regardless of country.
How dense is Anycolor? Why not do a check if the song is yours before issuing a copyright claim or strike? Why just automatically assume and then blame the producers. If I was the producer, I'd stop making music for Nijisanji and their talent
The fact it was all empty for Niji is crazy, then we have a room full of people with Hololive.
And Vox was wrong again? Wow. Shocker.
Vox knows how his fans are at this point. How many times has he had to call them out before? You'd think he'd know better by now to handle the matter in private with his company and whoever else might be at fault, but instead he chose to publicly react in anger and thus bring a hoard of harassment to this poor company. And I guarantee he still won't learn from this.
Vox doesn’t care 😭 He’s already shown himself to be ignorant at best, or a completely horrible person at worst.
False copyright strikes? From Kurosanji?
A sight all too familiar
This is probably the last company I expect niji to have issues with
The guy who made the song had nothing to do with anything, guy's perfectly professional. Niji and the big hypocrite on the other hand, yikes they didn't even bother to check. They just fire a copyright strike regardless if they're right or wrong, now that's lazy.
God OF COURSE Niji jumped the gun without doing further research and OF COURSE it was from something involving Vox and OF COURSE Nijisisters are being fucking weird about it, even to Vox apparently.
God, what a comedy of errors.
"Oopsies owo"
How to become a millionaire. Write a book about how to be a millionaire and sell it.
It's a day ending in y Niji fucked up again
There are some really excellent examples of the same sample appearing in massive songs over the decades; consider Laura Brannigan's "The Lucky One", Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name", Bonnie Tyler's "If You Were a Woman (and I Was a Man)", and Ava Max's "Kings & Queens", which all use the same sample in the chorus.
Can't imagine being so narcissistic that you hear some music in the background of a crypto ad and think "oh my god they stole from me", tbh
Elecman's theme from Mega Man is basically a menagerie of songs. Uncanny X has a thing called Oddly Familiar. That's how I found out that Ken's theme from Street Fighter is Mighty Wings from the first Top Gun movie that also has Highway to the Danger zone.
Thank God I'm not on social media. These people scare me.
I’ll also point to one specific piece of content I’m aware of that may be a useful resource for small VTubers; Dokibird has a fairly long stream from a few months back, titled “VTubing Advice & Behind the Scenes”, which is definitely worth a watch and is accessible for free to anyone who can use UA-cam 🤣
I can’t believe niji f’ed up this bad
Niji is so obsessed with abusing the copyright system. What a pathetic company 😂
U got that right
Another day, another nijisanji drama
Damn nijisanji can't go 30 days without taking an L, it takes skill to fuck up with this lvl of consistensy.

Twatter Freaks when they found out that music samples are a thing present in a large part of the music industry.
You do realize it's not just a Twitter thing right?
I am not buying the "i didn't know" bit. I am nowhere near as deep into the content creation world as these streamers and their corpo overlords and even I am WELL aware of music sampling and that you should be doing your due diligence research BEFORE ruining someone's reputation and content with false claims and false allegations. Do better, Vox and Niji.
Stop copyright striking so the world can heal. Copyright should only work if they're ACTIVELY claiming the property/IP as their own. I hate how flimsy this fucking law is you can just throw copyright strike the moment you hear your song EVEN if you get credited in the description it's so fucking stupid.
Edit: This law needs revision so it doesn't get abused which is what's happening today. Copyright claim should not be easily accessible it should be a serious case.
Honestly feel like they could’ve done it behind the scenes via DMs rather than publicly tweeting. Feel like we could’ve avoided so much nuisance that way. Biggest thing that came out from this is that some fans are toxic despite Niji making it clear they were in the wrong.
They never apologized for copyrighting you and false
Despite the fact that Vox being a stupid a**hole here, at least he apologized to the related party.
Unlike someone who used other people's bgm without consent... Yeah, I talking about you, Luca!
The continued unprofessional behavior by Niji talents baffles me. I know that most vtuber companies/groups don't really provide PR training (more understandable for small-scale groups but not legit corps like Niji), and just kinda let their talents be "genuine" in their social usage, but come on. If you suspect another COMPANY - not just another creator, but a whole ass COMPANY - of doing something to cause harm to you, your brand, or your image, you don't just tweet at them like Vox did. Public twitter condemnation should be a LAST RESORT after all other professional avenues have failed. Absolute L.
Vox is good at jumping to conclusions. Such as she is going to dock me akuma.
I mean, jumping to Copyright is something a Japanese Corp would do, not surprised there. Apologies were issued, and the Copyright nulled. It would easily be brushed off if not for the Sisters. In general, this is hardly even worth creating controversy
Amazing. Niji is great at protecting its property but terrible at making sure what they are claiming is actually theirs. I personally see that "growth guide" as a scam. If you can get ALL of the info for free but smash it all together and charge money for it, its a scam.
I think anyone still following Vox is exactly the kind of person displayed here, so not a surprise.
Looks like you weren't thorough enough with this one demon boi
They are an IDOL COMPANY and have NO FUCKING CLUE wether they own all the rights for the MUSIC AND SAMPLES THEY USE?!
And they immediatly copyright claim another company because they didn't know better? Man if I were Riku I would burry myself alive out of shame. What kind of a joke Niji has become...
You know, a little due diligence could have prevented this but we all know that’s a foreign concept to Niji.
your honor i would like to plead whoopsie daisy 😳
It’s kind of funny, because that dinosaur company can claim defamation
Though, i personally don’t respect the nft / crypto stuff if that’s true
NGL I respect Vox's vehement defense of the composer he worked with on that movie. The initial reaction to the song, not so much. (Also gotta love Niji making crypto bros look like the good guys in the situation.)
all of this just made clear to the 'no favouritism' point.
Vox telling his members to shut up is funny.
When have they haven’t stopped messing up
Niji fans blowing their lids without proper knowledge then putting all blame and responsibility for THIER actions on someone else is pretty on brand
Imagine hearing a snippet portion of a song and thinking "AH THEY STOLE MY SONG! LOOK EVERYONE! THEY STOLE MY WORK"
Instead...of, oh you know, doing a quick song comparison and asking all parties privately to make sure before publicly making the address of there being copyright bs...
It sounds like hearing a brief few notes to make a nod to a song or beat and instantly thinking of someone trying to steal your work...cause they just had 1or 3 notes similar to another song...
Then again, i dont know too much about how music copyright works, but this still feels like Niji is a lil too ready to jump on someone without looking into something to make sure its a true violation...
"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man!"
Not even suprise they would pull something like this
Niji trying to sue over a sample? And then got caught,? What a joke
It's funny they didn't even investigate and just jumped to copyrighting.
The woes continue.
funny to hear about a sample beef in vtuber space so soon after the Ren vs Kujo beef
What’s the ren vs kujo beef?
Deigo putting them on blast is great to see.
Imagine if they had just extended the same grace to Claynosaurz that they are now asking for from fans literally none of this would have happened.
So let me get this straight. Vox and Nijisanji picked a fight with NFT bros and *lost*, made themselves look stupid by not understanding what music sampling is (despite the company making like a hundred songs), and then their fanbase went after the guy who made music for Vox's video for minding their own business...I love Nijisanji.
When Nijisanji will stop taking the L's?
The day they get genuine leadership
I'm just waiting for the day that the people attacking others while hiding behind their already toxic content creators or the company their favorite content creators work for, ends up getting cancelled
Disgusting behavior, also while I don't like Vox or Niji, props to them for calling out the branch of their community that's just a bunch of dumb losers
Not a fan of nft but they didnt deserve this
tbh i'm always up for vox making an absolute CLOWN of himself in public and then having to apologize for it
Havin some random a55 no name giving advice on growing on social media is funnier than Pickle Rick
Is it not common sense with shit like this to double check that you actually own what you’re going to complain abt is being stolen? 😭
Once again folks, "no favoritism in Nijisanji".
Quick knee-jerk reaction that led to giving people shit over something they should've checked in with the people who made the song is VERY on brand NijiEN.
I think Vox saw it first bc of kindred did the copyright claim and Niji was like "Oh shit".
This Vox guy really thought he owns the sample
wow....and they force selen (doki) to delete her mv cover of "last cup of coffee" that she got permission from lilypichu....there no favoritism indeed.... right dox akuma!?
Can’t even bother to try and settle it privately, not even make a professional statement or perhaps speculation, just “what the fuck” LMAO dude 😭😭😭😭
Why do my favorite VTubers always gotta be problematic 😐...
At this point in time theres probably more than 80% of music beats that sounded similar to each other. Theres only so many combination and sequence of notes that are catchy or good enough to listen to. The remaining 20% just didnt catch on or are terrible.
Nijisanji cant go longer than a few days without taking an L 💀
Any other challanger other than this demon guy and his demonic civilization? Or is he like a main characters?
Hmm I wonder who's Niji's favorites are
Niji with doki bird: I sleep
Niji with vox:"ALRIGHT MEN WE MUST DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO PLEASE HIM SUCC SUCC" and I think we all know what im talking about
I wonder if they pay damages caused by the false claim... guess not.
Man that’s awkward…
Think and double check before you take it to the internet
this could have been prevented by a minute of research
Wait I didn’t get it what is going on???
It’s funny how people really love jumping the gun
When will they finally go down man? When will they learn?
Every day ninjisanji keeps falling deeper and deeper into a hole
0 days without niji fkups
Even if niji didn't talk to them, shouldn't they research to see if it's copyright. They just copyright someone and that cost other to lose revenue and maybe even fans.
Reset the clock to 0 again nijisanji without drama
If they say that they have experience in the field, but are just using public resources without actually having experience, then they're lying. Lying about your experience in order to sell something is scamming people. 🤷♂️
Please tell me they're gonna get int trouble for committing perjury by filing false copyright claim...
Is there even a "Rock Bottom" for Niji and the sister?
Was not expecting to check that off my bingo for things Niji messed up on this year. I'm just saying.
tbh, demon hungers looks like a copy of demon slayers in the poster and he got the confidence he got original music
Don't care they apologized, this just shows that transparency to audience is a joke when they don't even have transparency in the company, the talent themselves not having any idea whatsoever is happening in their projects, what materials/things were/are being used, where they came from etc etc and jumping on other creator publically without trying to solve this issue privately beforehand. This thing just reeks unprofessionalism. Truly pathetic.
123 pages is a lot of pages.
Absolutely embarrassing behavior from Vox, Niji, and their fandom.
Tbh, I think it's pretty serious, 'cause it was not just about personal issue, but accusing a team of stealing his propery without verification. Vox is like a child who owns a powerful weapon but have no idea when it will attack people. It might not be a big deal if it happened to anyone else in Niji. It is sad to see Vox can never control his own fans.

So Nijisanji and Vox sent a hate mob with little to no real context of what’s going on? Instead just dming them professionally?
Sounds about right 🙄
