Did you catch that the family in the Ad were named Hawthorne just like the Lab above vault four that Max and Lucy went into.

As far as I know there are just over 100 vaults (at least 111 since that is your vault in Fallout 4)
Maxs room is right across the hall from the one in the Ad
Caviar? The vaults have stored supplies for centuries of use.
Also as you recall vault four probably only had eighty people in it from the test run when the bombs fell.
In the ceremony the ashes and the blood were probably symbolic.
Moldaver is IMO still alive due to her having her own Cryogenic suspension pod and vault. Cryo pods are an established tech in fallout.
Moldaver was more than rich enough to do so.
The level twelve lab had them after all.
The caviar is just caviar.
No I didn't put that together at all never even really payed attention to their last name. I didn't think caviar lasted a couple hundred years . And Moldaver must have a cryo of her own that's the only explanation.
Just occurred to me maybe they use cryo for stored food also.

On the vaults...minimum occupancy is zero (for computer overseer AI's that link to other vaults) and the max, I think...is 1000. But there's no hard or fast rule on it. As for the number of vaults...up to 1000 possibly. Some were experimental from before even Cooper Howard, some only partially completed, some only on paper.
I wonder how many we will get introduced to in the series, and what purpose each vault has...so many possibilities!
@@AlcyoneReacts Beats the heck out of me, my man. I don't want to ruin what little I do know of Fallout stuff for you. "The Purpose" of each vault is...confusing, I guess is the best word for it. It depends on who is telling you (and that goes for in the show too). So don't necessarily believe everything you see or hear on it. Nobody actually knows "the overall plan", though some vaults do have very specific purposes.
