The only real explanation about what happened to Chris 2 years earlier was that she encountered Jason wondering about and just passed out. Jason apparently ignored her after that. Her parents went looking for her and just took her to bed. As for the rest of the Franchise, that's part of the magic about Jason. Please continue watching the films.

My favorite Horror Franchise, but part 3D is Not my favorite of the series. It's still one of the most iconic entries, mainly because he gets his iconic look with the hockeymask. I wish i would have watched this in 3D in the theater but i was too young back then, i love these movies, somehow i find them highly rewatchable, and i love people seeing reacting to them.
