  • A buddy just picked up this 1994 HD Electra Glide Classic with 138,000 miles on the clock. He saw what I had done with my KZ400 and wondered if I would be able to paint his bike. So... yea, I did.
A LOT more work than I had thought out originally. Took about 3 months to finally complete and then after all that, it broke the final drive belt. Pulled an all-nighter and got it delivered to him the next day.
    He was ecstatic.

Hey how’s it going just a question!? I have a 93 Electra glide and I’m trying to either get rid of the old school tour pack or upgrade to the quick release and also upgrade the seat! Did get a whole new rear fender or did you just drill and re thread the old one?

Fixed it. Drilled the end of the crack, re-welded, straightened and then body-filler. No threads needed, the original welded on nuts were in good shape.

This is that bike. He had the motor rebuilt after this. I think he messed up the paint on the front fairing at some point - last time I saw it there was a silver stripe under the windshield.

Bad ratios on the hardener. Got it right on the second try.
