Guys you have officially rocked it!!! The reviews are in and consensus is that you guys have made one of the best games of the year and maybe of all time and that the 13 years was well worth the wait!!! Can't wait to play it in 12 hours!!!!

This is first horror game where horror not dissolves after 1/3 of the game, but instead it becomes more and more scarrier.

Ive played AW2 for a good few hours now and it is by far GOTY for me, such an amazing experience. I hope we can see the same kind of comeback from maybe the Max Payne Franchise? a Max Payne 4 would be so good.

They are the masters at blending live action with gameplay, from Alan Wake with the use of multiple different shows being shown on the tvs to Control with the hotline calls with Trench and Dr Darling explanation videos, all have their unique style but fit their games their in so well!
Congratulations for everyone at Remedy for another masterpiece. I'm already thrilled to learn about Jesse's and Dr. Darling's possible involvement in the " Ascension Plan " and how things will wrap up. All new and old characters are great, it was definitely worth the wait, this game is a triumph for the survival horror genre, in my view, this is the best game of the genre since Dead Space 2. My fingers are crossed for Control 2, however if the next chapters come in form of DLCs or Alan Wake 3 they also have everything to be a blast. Thank you for this work of art.

I waited till I finished the game to watch all these, because I wanted to go in knowing nothing. Loved the game, one of my favourites ever for sure!
I had to tell my self many times that. I won't go down that path or I won't fight these suckers, but a hero has to face the darkness, that sentence made me confront things in this game scary as fuck. I felt like I was there, and my guts to still go there was. I got this. I got this.
I have never worked so hard as I'm now in order to completely clear my schedule for the weekend.
My partner and I finished the game today and what a journey 😊 best gave I've played in a long long while. Well done Remedy 🙌
An absolute masterpiece
I bought the deluxe version of Alan Wake 2 at the release day and didn't regret it. This is the experience what I missed from gaming for a long time. Thanks Remedy!

Just got my PS5 on Sunday when I finshed work from Best Buy so excited and bless when I got it pre-ordered Alan Wake 2 the Deluxe Edition late Monday night cannot wait to play when it hits 12:00am tomorrow on my PS5 the game looks good played the first game on the Xbox 360 and also got the Alan Wake Remastered for the PS4 Pro
all i can say is max payne remake is in save hands northlight engine and remedy dev team are capable enough cant wait !!
Love this game so far! Probably around 40-50% into the story. This is how you introduce new characters! Saga is brilliantly written, without feeling like it was all added for a political stance. The narrative style is so exciting!
100% opposite, she feel like third wheel through all story of Alan Wake 2.
Fantastic game with no need character that making stupid jokes in the forrest full of monsters, constantly whining about her family, like in the worst horror movies. And she is also incredibly stupid, comes to conclusions only after 2-3 characters tell her the same thing again and again. Not the sharpest tool in a shed for sure.
Can't wait to see how well Max Payne 1+2 blend horror and action once the remakes are out

How the F max payne is gonna blend horror and action? Its a remake of the first two games and even if it wasnt, a child wouldnt add horror to max payne games

I feel like it was yesterday that I have played Alan Wake for the first time when it released it was an experience that I ask myself if there will be a continuation to Alan's story so the fact it'll be playable tomorrow is hard to believe but puts a smile on my face knowing that 13 years later has been worth it!

Clay, you and Sam wrote an incredible work of art. I am in love w what I am playing, but the way you guys write and pull in very bizarre twists and turns.....oh my word. I love how original everything is that comes from this studio. I love how their collaborative works mean something unique allllll the time. What a group of awesome ppl.

I’m a really big fan of Alan Wake. I’ve been so inspired by the experience that next year I’m moving to Finland to study game development. 😅 I will work very hard so I can hopefully be a part of Alan Wake 3 or 4. Well, at least that’s my dream… I have a massive massive respect for this team. Congratulations on making such an amazing game!

Hello Remedy Team, first of all, I want to thank you for this unique experience! The only issue I have sometimes there is no audio, or the change of language. I play on german and sometimes it change to English. I was hopeing to reach out to you.
You can’t even imagine how much I want to be scared in this game👏
Just finished it. It took me just under 40 hours I believe (maybe 37). I liked it a lot and can happily say as someone who has played Alan Wake 1 on and off since its release, I wasn't disappointed, though I can see some people being disappointed by some events or the lack of some stuff. I'm being vague. Aside from some technical issues, I mostly loved it, and is the best Remedy game since the first game, at least to me. Interested to see where these characters come into the future of the Remedy-verse, and I hope we see even more connectivity between it and Control, like Jesse Faden. There's still quite a bit left open.
Oh, and I know Alan Wake was already remastered, but a remake where it looks and plays like 2 would be cool!

Alan Wake is a great game, but I love Max payne . It is very great. I am impatiently waiting for the remake. I love this game more than myself, and I am truly a huge fan of this most wonderful game ever.

I absolutely love this game so far, it’s killing me not to binge it but because I did that with Spider-Man 2 I want to savor this one and take my time. But the game does still need some polish(had a few bugs happen, one with Alex Casey in the alley where he got shot and when I transferred the light he appeared behind me t posed and I about shat myself 😂, and in that same area I couldn’t get what was in the box after I solved the puzzle in that alley) but this game is still well polished and published more then 99% of these games this is just some stuff I witnessed and I’m sure will be fixed 10/10 from me

We are getting 1 and 2 remakes with rockstar collaborating with with Remedy
Remedy is actually the lead developer on the Max Payne 1 + 2 remake so it’ll be an authentic new version of those games which’ll be really cool

john wick as a writer. i just hope the game dont dump alot of reading on you like quantum break and control did. pausing to read and then continue was little annoying. if they have the usual live action scenes in it wonder if they could do an entire game of live action graphics. wonder on the max payne remake which puts 1 and 2 into a complete game will now have live action in it also. since mark wharlberg was max payne in the film , Jake Gyllenhaal can play alan wake in a film lol.

Hey. When invert of X axis for camera control will be implemented?
Aye yo, Saga doesnt want to move with toggle on xbox s, what gives? Aint the controller cause it moves on dashboard, or the load and save menu. I know that much cause thats wheres she stuck. And i dont know if this is a bug but 20-40 minutes it crashes and goes straight to xbox menu. That happens 2-3 times a night when I play.
Another thing, it mentions stealth kills..how do you stealth kill if you gotta burn off their darkness shield?
Now another issue happening. When you press Y and show inventory...it won't let me scroll fully to far right items
It’s ok to have a group of people to be all from the same “background” given the locations demographic this was actually distracting.
:and please get rid of the f’ing damage vignette around the player I cant see the enemy animations.
