I have never been as excited for a game in my entire life as I have for Alan Wake II. I've waited 13 years for this and I honestly never thought it would actually come out so I am so happy Remedy got the chance to make this dream game a reality!

For me, Sam Lake should be regarded as one of history greatest ever story tellers. It just so happens, that he creates games too.

My dad died four days before Christmas 2010. To take my mind off things that Christmas week, I went out and bought Alan Wake for Xbox 360. It did its job well, so in that respect the game will always intrinsically remind me of that time. 13 years on I have a great life, have been married for ten years, and will of course be buying Alan Wake 2 (this time for PC!) Thanks Remedy.
My best friend died a few days after my birthday back in '11. I also played this after the funeral as a way to cope with the grief. Alan Wake would've been up his alley.

Thanks for sharing! I remember buying this game for $5 on sale and I almost didn't. It ended up being my 2nd favorite game of all time. Very excited for this new release!
I have a voice acting background and have to say that Matthew Porretta's performance has been such an inspiration for me since the first game. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him and the late Kevin Conroy are a great impulse to not give up. You almost saw me as Leon in those new RE games :)
It blows my mind that the sequel is almost here, what a dream!

I really hope this turns out well. I've been a huge Alan Wake fan since the games original release.
doubtful , not without the potential female fantasy trope. it might be great , but not in a satisfying way. duality storyline is a concept rather than cohesion, not a good thing in story telling game, not matter how good remedy make it look like.

13 years since it came out and look at any message board/forum today and watch people fight over who has the "correct theory" about this convoluted mess of a story because SaM LaKe couldn't provide enough info in his game.

Alan Wake for me is like Blade runner 1982 and Alan Wake 2 - Blade runner 2049 . 13 years of waiting paid off with a good plot, characters, visuals, and atmosphere .Thank you Remedy.

as someone who played the original on xbox 360, and american nightmare when it came out i am beyond excited for AW2. this game is so special to me and i replay it almost yearly. there isn't any game quite like alan wake. remedy is also one of the very very few studios i have full faith in to always bring out fantastic games.

Game’s out, what’re your views on it? I loved both, but honestly I enjoyed Alan’s way more. It was so weird, and uncomfortable, plus all the live action scenes just really drew me in.
The whole game is awesome though.

It wont maximise the profit like some (unfinished) games push out. But it will be worth it in the end. And will loyally spend money for it, and spend time... In the Dark Place!

I remember my dad took me to GameStop way back in the day & Alan Wake stood out too me even though I knew nothing about it & as I played I feel more & more in love with it. Hella stoked for the sequel

Remedy makes the best multimedia experiences. Ashtray maze was one of my favourite moments in video games as it brought beautiful framing, story, gameplay and music all together in one perfect moment.

Ya that's what I felt. First Alan wake gameplay was a little rough. I'm getting heavy RE vibes. And I know the story will be amazing like the first one. We needed the gameplay upgrade. Can't wait

I'm a visual artist. I've been making dark, edgy and horror tinged drawings for a while now and the general populace around me isn't accustomed to it all and it was borthersome for the longest. Seeing what the creative team did with Alan Wake 2 is one of the things that really inspired me to be comfortable in my own skin and explore 'strange' even more. I thank you guys for your art 🙏🏾.

Do you guys make a map of AW2 like AW1? I heard that you guys want AW1 to be an open world game, but the story you guys wrote doesn't work with open world game. That's why the map in AW1 is so beautiful
