    ----------------------------------------
    "Skyfall" is currently exciting people in the theaters around the world - James Bond is again the hero of the season. Enough reason for The Slingshot Channel to invent a rubber based weapon that would be useful for a spy with the "license to kill"...
    See a tiny little bolt shooting slingshot pistol that fires needle sharp bolts through both sides of a full pineapple can. See a poison filled syringe that is attached to a bolt, and can be shot at the enemy - unloading it's deadly cargo on impact. See bolts that have a firecap at the hollow tip, exploding as soon as it hits the target!
    Two different versions of the small, easily concealable shooter are presented.
    (There will be a pdf with some blueprints and instructions soon - stay tuned)
    here is the link to the German Horror Magazine: gestaltophil.de/dod/

    Well, that would require a lot more space for the trigger mechanism. I did think about a rotating fork that can be turned upright for a more narrow outline in the pocket, though.

    PDF isn't finished, but I already got the blueprints from my fellow Slingshot Channel team member Brian. Should be available in a few days.

  • @Slingshotchannel
    @Slingshotchannel  11 років тому +1

    I understand that, but then the trigger/sear mechanism would have to work sideways in order to catch the string. This would make the mechanism bulky and complex. A rotating fork would solve these issues.

  • @Slingshotchannel
    @Slingshotchannel  11 років тому

    The sear is "rubber band loaded" and automatically engages. See the pdf tutorial, download link in the text description!

    hi jörg
    i just wanna say thank you for doing what you do i love that you spend a lot of extra time on PDFs and instructional stuff.also my 87 year old granddad grew up making what we in Australia call a “shang eye”(slingshot) he does not use a mobile phone,ipod,cd player,facebook,nor does he want to BUT ever since i showed him you sling shot gatling gun every time he sees my on my mac book he say “right you’d better show me if that german fellas got any new toys
    thanks jörg

    Joerg: "I hope you enjoy it. Thanks and bye bye." I most certainly did!
    Your creations just becomes more and more interesting and integrated. To get a bolt that small shot from that small of a platform to penetrate that kind of a can which I have shot on with an air rifle with 200m/s 4.5 mm which did not penetrate is impressive. With that loading mechanism you've prooven the concept of multiplying the energy without the need of a bigger platform, great job!

    You should make a catapult that throws saw blades like 100 meters! That would be the coolest thing ever. And if you some how manage to make the saw blades be on fire when flying through the air, that would be even better! I expect you to be done by the end of January! Accept the challenge if you are man enough >:)

    really reallyawsome! one suggestion: you could try to fit a 209 shotgun primer on the arrow tip that would be a lot stronger than the percussion caps. They also should fit into the barrel...
