  • Here in this final part on the review for the DelTon, I go over 3 major talking points I like to call the FAV. Function, Accuracy, and value, these are 3 points I look for in any gun. I have to say overall I think this rifle is a buy. For what it lacks in accuracy I think it makes up for it in functionality and value!

    Just waited in line for hours to get mine today. Was lucky enough to get instant approval and the ability to take my baby home. Feel bad for the individuals who had to wait in queue.

    I've had a Del-Ton for a few years now and I love it. I have yet to have any issue with it, my groupings are pretty much right next to each other and that's with a carry handle sight. Took it to the range one day and a fellow shooter saw my groupings and asked what kind of rifle do I have and I told him Del-Ton..he seemed surprised I didn't say a high priced brand.

    I have an ATI omni and i love it, i plan on picking up one of these Del Ton next month. You can buy three of these for the price of one of some of the more expensive ARs. I prefer cheap beer, cheap whiskey, cheap women, economical firearms, and expensive cigars. Seems like the gun for me. Good review man.

    I bought a comple delton upper because of this video. I sighted it in and I was shooting sub-moa/moa using iron sights with Federal American eagle 55gr. 223 and Lawman 55gr. 556 at 75-100 yards in an indoor range. Very pleased with the accuracy and price, and I might get another one. Thanks for the video!

    i only have about 100 rounds thru mine so far and this is my first ar-15..and i'm a dude on a budget for sure..i have been more than happy with my rifle so far..i am upgrading the furniture but i think that's a given for almost everyone..my only gripe is that it comes with a commercial spec buffer tube so it makes it a little harder to find aftermarket stocks for it..or you can change the tube,but it's not a big deal really...mil-spec upper and lower they should have just put a mil-spec tube on it as well..but all in all i am very pleased to have this as my first AR..great video btw.

    I've got the rfth-16k. It's got the heavy barrel and is definitely a sub MOA gun. The only issue I've had is that with one of my cheap 30 round mags it occasionally doesn't lock open when empty. Really happy with this rifle.

    Awesome vid. I just got the Delton Sierra 316L. Paid $499 at a local gun shop. Ive only removed any factory oil and added my own as I normally clean and oil my AR's. Loving the rifle. Now need to find some time to go test it out. Gonna run brass first. Then run some wolf 55gr. I hope it runs good. If so, I'm using for a carbine course coming up soon in my area.

      The Hide thank you! I forgot to mention that new off the shelf, the internals were almost bone dry. The little oil I removed was a tiny spec of grease by the gas key. Usually when you buy a gun off the store, the internals are drenched in oil. Thought that was odd. I’ll have a video of mine soon on my channel if interested.

    Do you think the barrel nut on the gun is loose that can affect accuracy?

    • @TheHide
      @TheHide  6 років тому

      No everything was good to go on the rifle, Its just not a precision rig. Overall accuracy I found to be pretty good, I think it would be a bit better with a better trigger installed however.. Thanks for watching!

  • @ratagris21
    @ratagris21 Рік тому

    Accuracy comes down to the twist rate of 1:9 liking between 40-69 gr depending on the barrel and ammo mix. Not all barrel like various ammo. As the owner you have to test to see what that weapons likes in ammo as well as keeping the weapon clean and lubed. Dont expect a sub moa rifle on a budget. Does it sometimes happen yes, but not all the time. You also have to factor on the shooter too. If you cant see well or have good trigger discipline then weapon doesnt matter. Practice makes perfect.
