I'm on Xbox and the lag is so bad multiplayer is completely UNPLAYABLE so i dont even bother and warzone... i get maybe ONE smooth game out of 10 and even then its not perfect just decent. the other 9 are either little lag here and there/objects grainy/blurry all the way up to complete lag/stutter to where one game for example i was running in front of the smoke (i know i know PRE-ROTATE) towards end game and i literally lagged back into the smoke and every time i tried to move forward i would lag further into the smoke until i died from the smoke... on a 10+ kill game. It is absolutely atrocious that a multi-billion dollar company with all the tech we have in 2024 cannot get a simple video game to run smoothly. I mean lets face it its not like they're re-inventing the wheel here its basically been the EXACT same shit for three years straight!! rant over lol.
Xbox one x massive lag haven't played, but 12 to 15 games in about 3 weeks can't play at all. I'm to the point I'm done with all mime and my wife's accounts and might quit all together been playing COD since it came out now I'm disappointed in they way they are running it in the ground thank you for updating us, and God bless you .

Iam a zombies guy on Xbox series x my game froze 3 games in a row and lost my schematics. 3 day cool downs. I submitted a ticket with activasion and they asked me for game play video. I uploaded it and then they sent me a link to twitter saying they’re aware of the lag/freezing on Xbox lol. If it was a store issue it would be fixed in minutes lol
that is why i left cod mw 3 for three month's now they say they fix the issue but they make it worse after the fiasco of them saying oh we fixed it guy's
I have a series s, and a couple of my buddies have the series x, and we have had 0 lag (playing rebirth, and zombies). And our buddies with Xbox one’s have been experiencing crazy lag since the update. At first we thought it was CoD servers, after seeing a correlation we thought no way it can be COD servers and so thought it was only because they had Xbox one’s. But if you and others have next gen, and are experiencing lag, then I can’t imagine what’s going on. A part of me wants to say that some Xbox’s just run better than others but idk at all

I didn't even get the double XP tokens, lol. Activision just closed my case after 3 weeks not giving me the option to reopen it, saying it was resolved, lol. Yeah, like visiting their social media pages for updates really solves the lag issue. 🤔
They should give us cod points and the season pass and challenges we missed because of their poor performance and timely resolution to their server issues

Thank you so much for the consistent updates. I hope they push this patch through soon because I just tried playing again tonight and the stuttering is insane. 2-3 minutes in and the fps drops and I can’t even move.
I think it’s slowly being fixed as I was able to play a full game of warzone when previously I’d only have 5 minutes to play till it started lagging. Hopefully there’s been a small change and then next will be fixing the issue completely.
They told me the other day after 3 days talking to them they told me it's the Servers after the down load it's crazy i be freezing 🥶 when i shoot it freezes then I'm dead it's crazy 😮 and thanks for the update
It was so aggravating, but don't have it no more. I uninstalled, reformatted Xbox and going to sell the console. The game was fun but not worth the aggravation anymore.
PC user here and all week I been trying to figure out whats going on! First it was the stuttering and rubberbanding and now only in Zombies game mode. I get no textures, everything is blurry, can't read billboards, no buildings has windows, and the floor is just.. Let's hope they fix this!
I'm so fed up with this game. I've had lag issues with every COD I've ever played and in every match. For me, I've always been over one second behind time. My character is at least two steps ahead of where I am on my screen. I've changed all my hardware from PS4 to PS5, 60hz tv to 165hz monitor, changed my ethernet cable 3 times, I've even moved to a brand new fibre installed on my street last January with a brand new cable run into the house and still it's exactly the same, not one bit of difference. I don't even see players ADS, it's just instant death. I've been playing COD for years and constantly have the most deaths in a match even if I have the most elims. I just don't understand it. This has been a problem over 3 different addresses that I've lived at over the years. I know I'm not seeing all the frames of the enemies. It's almost like playing a 70s or 80s arcade game. I plan to just finish this last battle pass and max level like I always do then I'm done with this franchise.
Today is the first time I've experienced the lag issues and for me it's during zombies. I'm not much of a PvP player, admittedly I don't have the nerves to PvP, I get nervous, shaking and all that BS 😂 but today when playing Zombies I've noticed that every zombie I kill there is a frame drop and lag, it's made it so difficult to play due to how often it's going on. I have very good Internet, as an avid gamer I have as good as you can get internet that runs everything perfectly. The only time I ever have lag issues, crashing, and any online issues it's COD only. I never have the issues I have on any game except COD. But when you report issues it never fails that Activision is going to blame you. I'm surprised they are finally supposed to fix this.

I legit thought it was just me, I usually have about 40 latency when I play. I lag spiked up to 8300. Absolutely insane! I’m on ps5 though. I really hope they actually fix it fast.

I play Zombies on PS4 and it's the worst lags ever... lost all my loot and crap a lot of times and challenges haven't been counted... would be nice to at least get something back from them for all this lagging problem going on. I couldn’t even finish the battle pass because of it. It’s been like this for over 3 weeks! Where’s the compensation ? They owe us big time! They need to address compensation seriously!! Still lagging to the point of being nearly unplayable, as of 7:15 pm EDT, 19 July 2024. First experienced the problem on 29 June, and it's been constant since then. MW3 is the only game I play (XBox One). Microsoft is allowing Activision to cost them longterm customers.
Well I got fixed this past Friday and Saturday. They even reached out from Activision and they said my case was closed. Then today Sunday it’s right back but instead of playing for a couple minutes and then the lag started, now it durning all game play on all modes!!
It has been a huge waste for me and a couple of my xbox buddies. When we spend the big money to play a game because of the lagging servers. I need 6000 free cod points for this it's been 3 months

I have the Xbox series s, and a couple of buddies have the series x. We have experienced no lag, and first heard about this because our buddies with Xbox one’s were complaint the lag was rowdy! Reminds me of the time when I bought the series S and a new monitor and 120hz felt amazing in Warzone and rebirth! Then out of nowhere game felt worse and bad and about 3/4 of the year later I played a game and was like wow it’s 120hz again! 😂

I've played twice in 3 weeks. It's honestly unplayable. I mainly play rebirth. And I can play 1 game fine. Anymore are extremely laggy. Long pauses. Slow and laggy movement. I'd been pulling my hair out, doing router resets. Even changed my ethernet cable.

I never have the issues I have on any game except COD. But when you report issues it never fails that Activision is going to blame you. I'm surprised they are finally supposed to fix this.

I'm a long time cod player. But this has done it for me. Why would I invest almost 100 quid and extras on developers who clearly do not care about their customers or their product. All good things have to come to an end I guess

I'm on PS5 and I jitter lag every so often , like randomly every match like 20 times a match if not more.
I legit thought it was just me, I usually have about 40 latency when I play. I lag spiked up to 8300. Absolutely insane! I’m on ps5 though. I really hope they actually fix it fast.

I play Zombies on PS4 and it's the worst lags ever... lost all my loot and crap a lot of times and challenges haven't been counted... would be nice to at least get something back from them for all this lagging problem going on. Been like three weeks. Sorry, but taking way to long since they've been in business since ages. Been playing CoD from the first part on PlayStation.

The lag is absolutely HORRIBLE if I'm playing on my Gen One Xbox one or One S but it rarely happens when I'm on my Series X.
I couldn’t even finish the battle pass because of it. It’s been like this for over 3 weeks! Where’s the compensation ? They owe us big time! They need to address compensation seriously!! Such a waste of money. CROOKS!! We want free battle pass plus a months free of double XP . Probably won’t happen though!
I get it everyday but it's in burst. Usually only when I'm about to run into an enemy of course
Thanks for the update I have been saying for a while it will probably be fixed in new season as to finishing the battle pass I only just managed it by farming zombies not been an enjoyable couple of weeks
No problem and I still have 35 or so tier left with about 6-7 days left so guess I better grind a bit 😅
@@TazXGold just played zombies with no lag issues thought it was sorted played a multiplayer match and again got to the last 2,3 minutes then small lag kicked in gutted

I played the other day, and it was good, but the lag issue always kicks in for me at the end of a map. So the last third or so is virtually unplayable. No not virtually. It's unplayable.
Just managed to play a couple of games and it has improved but this issue for 2 weeks plus the s5 battle pass I think I may be done with this game now

PC player here and there is lag but usually only initially when the game starts and then it seems to settle. Annoying all the same.
Is it possible that we can now move on to the next problem one of many with the servers crashing mid game
My buddy’s been dealing with this for awhile, now that season 5 dropped are Xbox users still having an issue ? We’re trying game later and I’m curious if this is still a problem.

Still lagging to the point of being nearly unplayable, as of 7:15 pm EDT, 19 July 2024. First experienced the problem on 29 June, and it's been constant since then. MW3 is the only game I play (XBox One). Microsoft is allowing Activision to cost them longterm customers.
Well I got fixed this past Friday and Saturday. They even reached out from Activision and they said my case was closed. Then today Sunday it’s right back but instead of playing for a couple minutes and then the lag started, now it durning all game play on all modes!!
It has been a huge waste for me and a couple of my xbox buddies. When we spend the big money to play a game because of the lagging servers. I need 6000 free cod points for this it's been 3 months

Can some of you tell me what you're experiencing when lagging? For me it's when I'm running it skips and I feel like my shots are never on point like they used to be.

Is it affecting all players as I seem to be lagging but other people in my games are fine? My lag seems to be where my games is jumping every few seconds like it’s a unstable connection but speeds are fine and seems to be just me in the game when playing with my team
I have the Xbox series s, and a couple of buddies have the series x. We have experienced no lag, and first heard about this because our buddies with Xbox one’s were complaint the lag was rowdy! We had no idea what they were going through until all the memes came the next day lol then we realized it was a thing mostly everyone else was experiencing. Can someone try and explain why some people with the same console would experience 0 lag through all this?
Reminds me of the time when I bought the series S and a new monitor and 120hz felt amazing in Warzone and rebirth! Then out of nowhere game felt worse and bad and about 3/4 of the year later I played a game and was like wow it’s 120hz again! 😂
the worse part of this lag i have experienced was playing plunder and its so bad that its near impossible to play and I'm playing on the xbox one s and i hope they arent deliberately making it hard for us old gen players to play the game no matter the modeand all im trying to do is to unlock the charcoal camo using the chimera/ honey badger
Lagg issue? How bout they FINALLY fix the not booting issue on pc?. Been unable to play since january.....every time i get a 'crash handler' error when i try and boot the game up..

I've played twice in 3 weeks. It's honestly unplayable. I mainly play rebirth. And I can play 1 game fine. Anymore are extremely laggy. Long pauses. Slow and laggy movement.
I'd been pulling my hair out, doing router resets. Even changed my ethernet cable.
