PSA: stop comparing your pregnancy and PP recovery with Hannah’s! Not only is everyone different but she’s being training in the gym for years. Her whole career is based off her training in the gym. This means that her body might be ready sooner than someone who’s never been to the gym or someone who goes but isn’t consistent. Just because YOU had to recover and wait the full 6 weeks does not mean HER body is going to have to do the same! EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT IN EVERYTHING! Idk why that’s such a hard concept to understand?
Totally agree . I was out of my bed on 6th day of my delivery as no one liked the food cooked by the cook and resumed my daily chores the same day . And my workout too in a month and still going strong . Stop judging her . She knows what she is doing .
It's not comparing bodies. Here in the US, most doctor's will not clear you to start working out until you are at least 6 weeks post partum for a vaginal delivery... It has nothing to do with working out and being in shape prior to giving birth
Jill Entress - MOST of the time, how healthy and in shape one is pre-delivery does help one recover faster. And Hanna is not doing heavy weights.... I’m sure she has discussed working out with her doc and is following her doctor’s advice
Don’t listen to the haters. Your body is yours no one else’s. You trained all throughout your pregnancy and really took care of yourself, so sorry to break to all you other haters but she will bounce back a little faster compared to others. Doctors say six weeks as a gauge for everyone’s body. Hers isn’t like everyone else’s. Some people are all good after two weeks, for some people it takes eight weeks.
EXACTLY! I'm so, so, sooo tired of women commenting that Hanna isn't ready yet, like shut up everyone is different and she is fully capable on deciding if she is ready or not. Sometimes I'm amazed how people can make so ignorant statements.
@@limen3242 This is exactly what I was going to say, the majority of women don't train like her before and during pregnancy so, yeah they will definitely need more time to recover! Hanna is strong and her body is incredible! She knows what she can or can't do. And doctors don't know how it is for someone with this level!
This video helped me forget about the sadness I’m feeling with the passing of my grandfather for a little tiny bit ❤️ You have always been an inspiration for me to move my body and get to the gym. It’s time for me to pick it back up again ❤️
She is lifting according to her body. And this was nothing and she went in good exercises that will help her healing. Physican here myself. She is all good guys! For those women who can workout in pregnancy do it! Helps labour and for post delivery! Her advise is good!
Let the record show this is not normal! She is blessed her body healed so quick. I was peeing myself and bleeding for months after giving birth and I was 21. Do not feel pressure or feel down on yourself if your body isn’t ready as fast as the lovely Hanna!
Zahara Meeka she should be disclosing that this is not normal. 6-8 weeks is the recommended wait time for working out after birth. Not 2-3 freaking weeks.
It actually is pretty normal. it's just most women aren't in shape before and throughout their pregnancies for it to be the norm for them. If you're in shape and workout before pregnancy it's ok to do the same throughout. Which makes it easier for them to get back to where they were pre-pregnancy quicker than people who aren't in shape to begin with. It's not safe for a inactive person to start lifting and going hard with cardio during pregnancy. Higher chances of miscarrying. Also you'll have a higher risk of a hernia or hemorrhaging if you try going hard after giving birth if you didn't work out before and throughout.
Oh cmon guys, she literally says 1000 times in the video and in the description to listen to your own body. This is her listening to her body, if she feels ready to be in the gym after a month - great. If you felt like you couldn't go to the gym for months after giving birth - great for listening and recovering! This video is her sharing her journey, not telling anyone how theirs should be. I know you're probably not meaning to sound rude, but saying this is not normal and weird is kinda rude. Hanna is literally the most positive person ever, doing so much to lift up women. Why can't we just be happy for her recovery and lift her up for once.
I think this is normal for women who had fit bodies before and during their pregnancy. I did not so it took a long ass time to drop all of the weight and I wasn’t even a bad eater. Just not active. I was super jealous of my gym chick friend. She worked out and ate all kinds of stuff and still snapped back within her 6 week healing period.
You're so lucky that you can still go to a gym. I haven't been to mine for 2 weeks due to coronavirus, and I'm 7 months pregnant. By the time I'm able to train again all my strength will be gone.
Why don't you use your body weight just for now? It's not exactly the same of course but with a few changes, like with the amount of reps, one can get a really good workout.
Gyms closed in my country starting today. I decided to try my best to workout at home. Today I did lower body with bands, it was nice just took me longer time than usual. Working out lower body with just body weight is fine, I'm still not sure how I'm gonna train my upper body and back 🤷🏻♀️
I feels you! Takes more longer to see results and wanting to give up half way :-( but I’m with you on this! We got this. Training my body home for now by using my body weight.
@@amtfh4566 I'm doing bodyweight exercises at home it's ok, but I miss the barbell so much!!! :( I miss going to the gym, I miss heavy squats, it was my therapy.
This is amazing!💖 I also worked out my entire pregnancy and around 3 weeks pp I was dying to move my body and use my muscles again! Didn’t do anything crazy until my 6 week pp clearance but I think people forget you know your body best. The ones who are mad and judging you over this must not remember that.🤭

My baby is 5 months old. She’s my second. During this pregnancy because I was very active I couldn’t wait to exercise again postpartum! It’s such a good feeling! 💜💜💜
She is human, she is her own person. It's been a month since giving birth, if her body says she is ready then shes ready! Shes going light and doing everything right and what works for her. I think she is incredible! Also people that say shes irresponsible because of her viewers, then i should seriously suggest you listen to doctors advise on medical issues rather than youtubers. Each person is made up differently. Common sense!
You're doing great! I love that you were smart stopped at a good point. It can be difficult to gauge what your body can really handle and it's easy to overdo things when you're feeling well. I was able to lift throughout my third pregnancy (including the day I was induced) and was also back at it three weeks postpartum. It was definitely tough and things didn't go as quickly or smoothly after my first two. I'm grateful for anything my body can do!

I love all the little reminders to listen to your body! Thank you for spreading this message. It's too easy to get frustrated with all the messages from strangers telling PP women what to do 😣
Hannah, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing so much of your pregnancy and advocating for HEALTHY exercise throughout as well as after. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant, I stopped working out in the gym around 25/26 weeks due to excessive abdominal separation and severe fatigue from low iron levels, while still working as much as possible at a very active job (as a nurse). I worked up until 31 weeks and continued walking my dogs up until this past week. I listened to my body when it told me to slow down, and my pregnancy has been quite healthy otherwise, I cannot WAIT to get back into the gym after my baby boy arrives 😍 While I find this video so motivating, I realize that I am on my own journey. it might take me a little longer to get back into the gym, and that is okay. Some people need to stop comparing themselves and instead use your experience as inspiration that the human body is AMAZING in how it can recover if we treat it properly 💕 Keep it up girl!

Well done Hanna... regardless of Howe long you’ve been training for it’s inspiring to see your PP recovery. Hopefully you will inspire others through their recovery. Kisses xoxo
I've always been skinny/athletic before, after, and during pregnancy. BUT i have major stretchmarks and loose skin. I also had to close my diastasis recti twice (yes it's possible). I tore with each child pretty badly. You don't necessarily have to go to the gym but all nurses told me that walking and moderate exercises that do not strain your dr were actually recommended. Totally miss having a newborn 😭 my youngest is turning a year in April. Collin is so adorable 😍😍😍
Watching this a week after giving birth to my baby girl and actually making me cringe 🤣🤣🤣 but my body has recovered so so sooo well already and I can only imagine its because of the training I've been doing through pregnancy inspired by Hannas pregnancy videos so look forward to trying this out in a few weeks when my body lets me!!!
Oooo Girl!!! You are going to FEEL this so bad the next day. Take it from a mother of three who also believed I was ready. DON'T PUSH yourself yet. Wait a few more weeks.

Watched this while I worked out today (Hanna glute guide 2.0) your amazing thanks for all the videos! Your so inspirational... everyone else.. 6 weeks is a guideline calm down
I definitely agree with her form of fitness during pregnancy and postpartum. Working as a L&D, and Postpartum nurse, we see a huge difference in mothers who do some form of fitness versus those who do none. Delivery and postpartum is faster, and recovery time is less with mothers who have a fitness regimen. Of course that is something your obstetrician needs to be aware of, and approve of, always speak with your obstetrician before starting any form of fitness.
Yaaayyy she is back 😊😊. I will appreciate a video on your diet now that you are breastfeeding, like how are you planning to lose the extra weight and so on !! ❤❤
Always happy to see your videos! Just a question, what happened with the 60 day challenge?
Hey Mina! Thank you, glad you enjoy them!

I started working out 4 weeks postpartum lol 😂 you’re doing amazing! I had a hard time with balance after for a while it was weird
Such an inspiration as always. Wishing you and your family all the best 💗

Love your videos Hanna, your keeping it real, including the tongue twisting. Much love here from Australia
Oooo Girl!!! You are going to FEEL this so bad the next day. Take it from a mother of three who also believed I was ready. DON'T PUSH yourself yet. Wait a few more weeks.

Looking good lady ! You're lucky you still got a gym to go to ours are closed for the next 2 months all over the state...
This woman is my goddess! Also I NEED those socks!
I have so much respect for you. Your videoes is really good and helpful! :))
The queen is back💪💪❤❤
Yaaayyy she is back 😊😊. I will appreciate a video on your diet now that you are breastfeeding, like how are you planning to lose the extra weight and so on !! ❤❤
8:30 'I can not wait, to thrust' 😂 instantly died laughing at that part
I say the same to you as my cousin said to my mother many years ago... "You are the increible motherwoman" :-)
