- Iconic British experimental rock band ELO performing one of their biggest hits to a crowd of 19,000 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
I've listened to this band my whole life. They were one of my Top 5 bands when I was growing up. We would always play them in the car during road trips, and I danced to their music when I was a baby. But I'd never thought I'd get to see them some day, absolutely incredible!
I'm going to see Jeff's ELO on August 30th in Portland. I can't wait! And I have seats just right of center, level 3 nosebleed seats, just like you had. At my age, I'm sure this will be my last concert. I hope his final song is 'Roll Over Beethoven', the Chuck Berry classic. That would be a fitting bookend to my concert history since Chuck Berry was my first concert in 1970.
I saw the original ELO (Jeff, Richard, Mick, Bev etc) three times in the 70's and they were brilliant. I've seen Jeff Lynne's ELO twice in and they were just as good, if not better. Such a shame they didn't tour for such a long time. They've been one of my favourite all-time groups.
Jeff Lynne is the soul of ELO. That's why they are still amazing . He sets his standard high.
They're on tour right now! I have tix to Sept. 23rd show. I loved ELO during the 70s when I was in elementary school. SO excited to see them! 🎻

Jeff Lynne’s voice never gets old, he’s such a genius. I love this band to this day, I’m 74 & ELO is the best band ever!👍🎼🎵🎶♥️👏👏👏

I saw ELO right after John Lennon passed away. It was amazing. I love ELO and listen to them all the time.
71 year old Jeff Lynne (at time of this concert) still has a fine singing voice. This band kicks ass.
I know. He still sounds good dude! I was annoyed that his backup singers couldn't hit the high notes

@@briantravelman What notes couldn’t they hit? I saw them in Oakland in 2018 and Sacramento in 2019 and they sounded great both times.
They are one of the best unique ones ever!

I took my wife, my daughter and my daughters’ boyfriend to see the concert in Sacramento.
It was awesome and the best $1000+ that I ever spent (maybe)!!

I am 68 and ELO have been there through most of my adult life. If I were to write an autobiography - every one of their songs would be it!
Great memories as a student in Leeds Yorkshire from 1975 till 1980.... Listening to them again decades after... Great still Great... Come to Malaysia and do a concert here.. 👍❤

I saw them in 2017. Best show I've ever seen. I wish you would have kept the camara on the stage.
If I was closer, I would've. I figured people would want to see the band members, but I'll keep that in mind for future concert videos.

He's officially touring and marketing touring under the name "Jeff Lynn's ELO". But honestly, I think it's fine. They had so many band members and backup musicians, that no one even knows. The singer is the most important. Though I will say that these new backup singers could have at least TRIED to hit those high notes on "Telephone Line".

Yeah, that arena SUCKS! WORST concert venue I've ever been to. It was designed for basketball, and it's not even fit for THAT!
Hey, I’d go see the play in a junkyard if they came here. One of the greats that I haven’t”t gotten to see & would love to. This is a real band with outstanding musicians that are masters at what they do. Not just some 4 chord 2 hit wonder band. Then add in the show ! 2024 would be great
