Just got my RASA and OF COURSE! A $2000+ delicate telescope has no storage solution! Thanks for the recommendation on the RASA storage… I literally went to Ross and bought the exact same bag… just had to carve up the foam and bit and it’s great. Probably better than anything I could’ve bought. Biggest quandary was deciding between bag that was $24.99 that I liked the look of… vs the one for $27.99 that had more compartments and better handle and wheels. 😂😂😂😂
That's a sweet set up. No matter how many times I organize my hobbies, I always think "Well.... Maybe they should go there..." And reorganize. Then think "Well.... Maybe over there, instead..." And I reorganize again and again. 😵💫

Wish this video was around 9 years ago when I got into the astrophotography! haha I would have taken a completely different direction with my storage solution. I instead went with knock-off Pelican cases which are reasonably affordable and have the pick and pull foam inside so all of my gear is in beefy hard cases. The mount has always been a tough one though because it's so heavy. I lug it around in its case but the foam hasn't held up well so I will need to re-foam it. I'll see if I can find a harder foam and use the hot knife idea because I think that's a great solution. I also love the labels!! My biggest issue in the field is forgetting where everything goes!
Glad you got some useful bits 😊👍 If feel your pain on the weight of the mount! I love the wheels on this tool box. It makes it a lot easier. And you're right about the labels. There's so much stuff, it's hard to remember how it all fits in. Doing it in the dark doesn't help 😉 clear skies!
As a construction worker and a big fan of the Milwaukee Packout system, this in not something I expected to stumble upon while trying to find the launch date of their new Bolt eye visor. Nontheless i'm happy you like it and don't worry about breaking it, it's tough!

In my defense, each reorganization takes less and less tweaks. I'll get it right one of these days. 🤞

You’re the first person besides me that use Milwaukees stack set. Mine consists of 6 stacked boxes.
