- Today I'll be testing out several methods of growing avocados, to find out the best way to grow them from seed. I'll be direct sowing some in soil and also using the toothpick and water method of propagating them. I'll show you how to grow avocado from seed from start to finish using several methods to find out what the most effective way to plant the seeds. I include many updates within the video right up until 5 months of growth. I also show how to transplant avocados from water to soil and the experiment finishes with showing some clear results of the best way to germinate avos from the pit of a store bought fruit.

Yep the seed growing bug has bitten us. anything and everything that we think we can grow or regrow gets a shot. so far results are looking good after a slow start. I spoke too soon! Just after uploading the bugs are back. 😫 so lots of dog sitting still required.
@Farm Villa Awww! I know the feeling. Our cats have fleas again. The Portuguese cats hardly have any fleas on them but the two from Canada are being eaten alive. Mavis has pulled half of her fur out. 😭
Have you tried shoving some garlic down their necks? In Cape Town we had a sand flea problem and that is what Mandy did which seemed to work. Maybe make up some Garlic spray as well to spray the sleeping area.
@Farm Villa No. Mavis throws up a lot to begin with so I'm afraid to give her garlic. Maybe I will try it on her brother Drac first. He can be the guinea pig. 😳
They are crafty replacing the mRNA with a patented one so the GMO fruit hardly makes any seeds if any .
I germinted a seed from a seed i found in a tin of Grapefruit .Most plants if you are clever can clone with rooting powder .
Did you know Gill Bates ( code ) owns most of the seed library ? and i wonder exactly what what they are upto with the mRNA arm darts ?
thankfully we are lucky and in southern Italy most of the produce is local. Im guessing that is why we have a high success rate with germinating seeds here. What I did say about it was cut out of the video on Mandy's instructions. Gates owning the seed bank should concern everyone! That's all I am allowed to say. 🤣
