Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, I’ve been recovering from a severe stroke and at 63, this wasn’t my retirement plan wishing you and pops an abundance of Health, Wealth, Love and Happiness, 💕
This is such an awesome adventure! Tackling three stunning state parks in one day is no small feat, but you made it look incredible. Letchworth, Watkins Glen, and Taughannock Falls all have their own unique beauty - those waterfalls are just breathtaking. Thanks for taking us along on this epic journey through Upstate New York. Definitely adding these parks to my must-visit list! 🙌
Thank you for showcasing the Finger Lakes region. I have been saying for years that upstate New York is extremely underrated. I hope you also got to see the Adirondacks during your trip.
Thank you for showcasing our beautiful area! Can’t believe you did these in one day!!! Will look forward to seeing your future videos for more in depth! ☺️
This was absolutely phenomenal. Thank you for sharing all the interesting info, the gorgeous scenery, and amazing locations. All three parks are fascinating. Your enthusiasm is contagious, and correlates well with the videos, and audios, Josh. beautiful areas 🏞🌊👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌟
I was just in NY last week and went to all 3 parks! I loved them! I did Letchworth as part of the Mammoth March, so that day I hiked 20 miles, 2 days later I drove to Watkins Glen and Taughannock. Watkins Glen felt like a fairytale. Beautiful parks!
Reminds me of my latest trek back last October with similar colors & natural wonders. Legends around those places are a great way to immerse oneself into the past & commune with Mother nature. Surely not the kind of scenery one would expect to see when speaking of New York (either city or state). It would have taken me much more than 1 day to see 1, not to say the 3 of them altogether. Thank you for the guiding tour!
We just came back yesterday from the 3 state parks. To my taste, the Watkins Glen state park is the most wonderful. Second is the Letchworth and third is the Taughannock. In the Letchworth, we parked the car just under the big bridge near the high falls. Then we walked 12 miles, yes 25000 steps on the phone all the way to the archery overlook and back to the car. In the Watkins glen, it is easier to enter from the upper entrance so you can walk all the way down to the main entrance in the city. That way, you go down the stairs (800 in total). We used the shuttle to bring us back to the car. In the Taughannock, easy walk to the big fall and you can drive by car to the rim and take all the pictures you want. Very nice parks guys !!
Very much love your video travels. My son is disabled and in a wheelchair. He gets so excited with each video and says he wants to do it all. It is helpful when y’all mention activities and trials that are wheelchair accessible. My son is 32 years old and I’m challenged sometimes just getting him up and out pushing that chair😂
Love this! New York is so beautiful and has so many hidden gems. Minnewaska State Park is another great Upstate park. And the town of Corning near Watkins Glen is very cute and has a very cool glass museum!
having just moved back from Arizona to New York it was wonderful to be reminded how beautiful my home state is. I can't believe the timing on this video. Weird. Thanks for posting!
So much more to see in the area. Eagle cliff falls is my favorite just outside of Watkins Glen. Montour falls is very cool too. Ithaca is filled with of gorges and Epic waterfalls. Too many to mention. Great video.
Watkins Glen has been on my radar for awhile. I almost went last summer but had to cancel my plans. I didn't know about the other two. Definitely adding them to my bucket list!
I've loved your channel for years, and was hoping you'd go to this area. I've travelled throughout the continental US, and Watkin's Glen is by far my favorite walking trail.
We might be biased, but we think upstate New York has some truly amazing waterfalls (and hikes, and views, and so on)! Thanks for capturing the beauty of some of our state parks. 💚
@@ThroughMyLens There's a lot more to explore the next time you visit: the Thousand Islands, the Finger Lakes, and the Adirondacks with their high peaks and stunning vistas, to name a few. Come back anytime! 🏕️🌳🍄
Love your videos! And the info you provide is good to know should my hubby and I get to the places you’ve been. I’ve been to Letchworth park but not at the part you were at, so I hope to get back to that park again. !
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing all of these beautiful places and being so enthusiastic and blown away by how beautiful they are! I rarely see videos of places from my area so this was very cool to see!
Letchworth State Park is on my list. I reckon taking a plane to Buffalo and drive to the park will be the fastest way to get to the park early in the day without driving too much.
Yeah! You finally got to this area! I grew up in this area and have been to all 3....but, it's been decades since moving to NC..... EXCEPT for Watkins Glen. I revisited Watkins Glen and the Cayuga Lake vineyards in '08 in 2008...still a long time ago. Are you checking out the vineyards of the Finger Lakes? Fond memories. Also, were you able to get to the Adirondacks? My favorite camping grounds in my 20's. (40+ yrs ago). They are marvelous!
As I've seen in most of the comments from your other adventures, it's fun to see you in "our neck of the woods." =) I was born in Watkins Glen, had Sunday School picnics at Letchworth, and was engaged at Taughannock. Incidentally, when you mentioned Watkins Glen State Park, it took me a second to figure out what you were talking about since we always called it "the Gorge." I forgot it had a real name. =) So glad you enjoyed your time there! Love your videos.
My state where I was born and raised! I spent lots of time at letchworth as I went to college near there, good times! I've been to taughannock falls once but still need to get down to Watkins Glen
Thanks for showcasing some of NYS wonderful parks. Next time your in the Ithaca area check out Buttermilk Falls State Park. Also put the Thousand Island area on your radar. Enjoy your channel very much
You should stop by Ithaca next time, Buttermilk Falls and Treman State Parks. Also if you were in East Aurora, you should have went to Eternal Flame falls where there’s a natural gas flame behind a waterfall, it’s really spectacular in the fall. Hope to see more Upstate content!
We visited Watkins Glen last October, it rained while we were there making it extra wet , but it was definitely one of the coolest places!! NY has so many places I'd like to visit 😍
Great video! I love living around here. Watkins Glen in the rain is the best time to go with the least amount of people. If you're ever back in the area check out Robert H Treman state park and Lucifer Falls.
Been to Watkins Glen . When my kids were a lot younger beautiful place . Glad you liked it there . I hope to get back there ! You definitely get a good work out climbing. Hope to get to Taughanack state pk, never been there !
Great capture of these amazing parks! I live in Rochester and take all three of them for granted when I fo there. Were you able to get to any coffee places during your time here? I'd recommend Chinmey Bluffs & Robert H. Treman for parks and hiking along the Genesee River for a future visit! Way to many coffee places in the area to mention here too. Let me know if you'd like any other local recommendations.
Great video! Why do you think this area does not get talked about much or get much attention? I had not even heard of these spots and now I want to go!
We hiked Watkins Glen last July. They run a shuttle for a couple bucks that lets you hike one way and catch the shuttle back. We hiked downhill and shuttled back.
We went to letchworth and hiked all the way up the bridge !! We are planning to finger lakes region, do you have a weekend plan like where to stay and where to eat?
Not sure if I’ll get an awnser but just curious when u came to letchworth because I’m genuinely in shock that no one else was at middle falls I’ve never seen less than 40 or 50 people watching it

HOURS BECAUSE OF A PAIN IN YOUR LEG AND LOOK TO SEE THAT YES, IT WASN'T A DREAM AFTER ALL. THERE REALLY IS A WOLF EATING YOUR LEG. IN THIS SITUATION, IT IS BEST NOT TO TRY AND RUN HIM OFF. JUST LET HIM FINISH UP AND GO HIS WAY. MAYBE PAT HIM ON THE HEAD AND SCRATCH BEHIND HIS EARS WHILE TELLING HIM WHAT A GOOD BOY HE IS SO HE DOES NOT PERCEIVE YOU AS A THREAT. THAT WAY WITH THE WOLF'S BELLY FULL HE WON'T BE BACK FOR SECONDS LATER AND START NIBBLING WHO KNOWS WHERE. MALE CAMPERS HAVE MORE VULNERABILITY THERE. SO NOW YOU CAN PITCH YOUR TENT IN CONFIDENCE AND HAPPY CAMPING!

"Stunning" doesn't begin to describe these parks. Thanks for the take-a-long.
Wonderful Up-State New York! Can’t believe all those Falls! So beautiful! Thank you Josh!❤️😀🇺🇸🌏
Two state parks near Ithaca (Buttermilk Falls and Robert Treman) also have very nice waterfalls. However, you visited the three most impressive parks.
