Trip to Bethamangala | Bethamangala Dam | Bethamangala Lake | KGF | Water works |

Hello guys welcome back to my channel 🙂
In this video, I have visited to Bethamangala, which is a small town in Kolar Gold Fields taluk of Kolar district, Karnataka, India. The town is located 100km away from Bangalore.
The town has a man-made lake and a dam built on the Palar river which is used for water works. The water works were built in the year 1903-1904 by the British Empire and are used to filter water that gets collected straight from the dam.
The water is purified using the oldest way of purifying water with the help of alum and chlorine. This purified water is supplied to nearby cities and villages.
