BMW M Boy, calm down. I don't think they're haters, it's just a joke. I am a huge BMW fan too, but I'm also joking around if there's a BMW that doesn't indicate and say something like "oh look, he's out of blinker fluid" or something like that. These cars are unbelievably great, but if there is another person that likes another brand, then accept it, and all these little jokes just don't destroy this brand.

this launch control is phenomenal, with good tires, wheel spin is MINIMAL my 2017 M4 launches like a beast. Its giving me 0-60 times in the low 4 sec range, measured in laptimer.
Edit: with full set of new good tires (4) 100% aligned it gave me 0-100 in 3.8 sec
What rpm did you launch it in? Also crank hub don’e ?
@@uncutrangerz6118 I used to launch it at 3000 rpm, mine didnt go lower than that on the launch control. No issues at all and it was bloody fast.

@@DreStyle mine didnt gave me that much wheel spin even at sea level, the launch worked phenomenal for me running pilot sport 4s. Love those tires, ive had them on my m4, 991.2 911 carrera s (stock) and 991.2 (heavily moded carrera gts) and they grip like claws
I’ve had my M4 for a bit over 5 years and I have loved every minute! I still get a smile every time the garage door goes up before a spirited drive. 😊

Every day when I go out to teach my History classes, I carry a BMW key ring near my keys. I believe that this Keychain will bring me closer to the dream of winning an incredible car these days. When I had my F80 M3, the car always hooked at 3000 or 3500 rpm with minimal chirp or spin. Always gave a 0-60 in 4 second flat or less. Just need the rear tires north of 80 degrees F.

i tried it on a 6gt as well as an X5, doesn't work:( the rotation speed just reacts to how much throttle you give

No
Can you use launch control with automatic gear changes mode ? Or the shifts must be in manual?
It will shift automatically even though you set it to sequential to launch
The main question is.when your in manual mode when your about to launch..do you have to shift or it will shift for you ?
It will shift automatically for you until release gas pedal ;)

I can't get Launch control to work on my 2018 M4 comp package. I get the "Launch control active" with the white checkered flag following these instructions but the cruise control does nothing to the RPM, and LC shuts down after about 2 to 3 seconds

I got u, the Manual has the same feature. U need to put your BMW in Sport+ Mode. Then u need to hold ur clutch, put in first gear (but still hold the clutch) and press the gas. Your car should rev to 3,5k like the m4 in this video.

You dont have to switch off dtc. Just sport+ and gear lever to manual.

How many times can I use the Launch Control? Can I use it a couple times during a saturday drive in the mountains? Can I use it once a Day? I have been hearing mixed information on how often you can use it? In my MT I would do burn outs and donuts all the time and never had a clutch issue. Is the DCT clutch strong enough to do this launch control 100's of times a year? Thanks ZoomZoom
There is no real limit to the number of launch controls, but we would suggest taking short breaks or make some distance between the starts.

BMW M I cnt afford seeing a great company get such hate btw your m5 e60 still holds the fastest saloon crown the feel,the,vibrations. Also in my opinion it is the best sounding v10 ever but o see why you are downsizing. This is in order to be fast along tracks. I don't like that your cars are released for homoligation. But I still have hope in m power and one day it will regain its respect 😊😊

@@shanefowler9443 the GTR is a cheap supercar, will drink petrol money but its worth it! She is made to be modified and can be pushed to the limits. All around is a great car. Alot of people wreck their gtrs tho as it really does give you way too much confidence lol
