Brood stock Rainbows are some of the only stocked trout in the Driftless Area, but are fun to catch -- especially after they've been naturally feeding in the streams for awhile.
Once you give a spot away then everyone and their brother fishes there and keep fish like this as well as fish that aren't even big enough to eat. Keep it a secret so people can enjoy catching these bigger trout. I hope they dont end up in a frying pan. Iowa should be catch and release and for the people that dont know how to handle fish they should stick to fishing for bluegill.
