Excellent. I've just gotten on the dc deckbuilding train after accepting that I'm a huge nerd and I've been watching the rest of your years-old vids over and over because I haven't bought save for the original pack and I'm filled with wonder.
I really like the Crisis expansions for the DC Deckbuiliders. I'm hoping they end up coming out with one for this, but afaik they don't even have a crisis that pairs with the Metal set yet.
I'm a fan of DC Deck Builder, and this sounds like a really interesting version. I love the mechanic of being able to get rid of weakness cards if you suffer a penalty. It gives options if you're unable to destroy it normally.
I do feel the Cartoon Network versions also did Weaknesses rather well. Their version of Vulnerability, Pratfall, had the ability to put weaknesses in the discard pile back in the weakness stack, making them something you didn't always want to destroy off hand. And the Weaknesses themselves felt like actual weakness, as rather than just being worthless bloat, they were penalty cards that made your turn tougher if they were drawn, doing a whole bevy of things like making a player unable to buy a certain type of card, forcing discards, being unable to draw extra cards, etc. Some are a bit on the silly side, like forcing a player to sing or act as a T-Rex for the turn, but still a neat variation.
love the video! just had a couple of suggestions for your let's try (food) series! - try every nongshim ramen (creator of shin ramyun instant noodles) - try every buldak ramen each have more than ten flavours at least to try. and you'd most likely enjoy these since shin ramyun is your fav (you've mentioned in your prev videos).
At this point the only real improvement DC Deckbuilding can have is a digital version. They already got great game, just don't make me count the cards up.
Ever try out the One Piece TCG? It’s really fun and in a great spot right now gameplay wise. Lot of card effects are based on One Piece lore so it’s even better as a fan of the manga
That's going to be true with most deckbuilders unless they have dedicated piles like Dominion or Tanto Cuore. So, if your game group doesn't like too much randomness/chance in a game, deckbuilding isn't the best genre to play.
Am I the only one who always skips “Let me show you how to play”? I just wanna know if the game is fun and worth buying, Idk why there’s always a mini tutorial in there. Like yeah you need to understand the game a bit in order to understand the review but it goes so in depth that it always goes over my head completely

By the way, the algorithm notified me that your video was available 33 seconds after its publication. you must have made peace with youtube ;)
Seems alright, but maybe a little jank if you get the right/wrong cards.
