Kudos to Wavetech.... So 20 years ago,,, I remember having a Phoenix Gold BassCube, which allowed you to adjust Narrow and Wide Q settings.. this LinQD seems to be the LC2i and Basscube Combined into 1 package.. Im thinking of swapping out
i loved the lc2i pro and it works to restore bass roll off well but when i switched to the linkdq woooooow it made a difference in the sound and power coming out of it. it gave my system a more punchy sound signature while still keeping those nasty lows and i feel like i didn’t have to turn the bass knob up as much as the lc2i pro and still be louder, but when i did turn the bass knob at least halfway i was wayyyy louder than when i had the lc2i pro and the signal was still clean and not clipping. i deadass love this product, i did try out the bass restor but i couldn’t get the bass to hit the way i wanted it to but the epicenter effect i freaking loved the way it sounded and worked perfectly. but i prefer the linkdq and im just gonna buy the audio control epicenter.
Will this work for my 2020 f250 with the B&O system, they installed my system and added a ZEN dsp, it sounds ok, but the bass is not what I expected, I have one rca for subs in the ZEN, could this be added to my system or no??
Yes this will work, you can use it as a line driver. Go from your zen into the linkDQ and then out to your sub amp. Use the parametric eq to over come any bass rolloff you may have
@@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 sound quality, and just a full rundown on the unit. There’s really nothing out there besides some basic videos if at all.
Do you make a harness for a 2020 Toyota Corolla XSE with JBL. I have a Wavtech BassFreq and want to interface into the factory JBL amp without splicing wires. Want to grab signal for bass frequencies, power and ground without splicing.
Its an RTA that connects via usb. You can go on Amazon and get one for 60 or 80 dollars. Unless you do this for a living, there is no need to spend the 1000+
Hey bud, i seen the wavetechDQ has internal jumpers that come from factory set to 2-20v how do you know if i need to move that jumper? Do i turn my oem HU volume up 75% max volume or highest un distorted volume and take my meter and read the voltage from the high leve inputs and if its higher then 20v i should move that jumper? Also my ported box with 2 8" subs in it is tuned to 33hz. Do i set the parametric eq around 33hz and move the db gain up any? I have a 2020 ram 1500 crew with non amplified sytem. Thanks
Hey boss, this would be a rather long conversation. Here is a manual from one of our companies that will answer absolutely everything. Its a free download....t-harness.com/pages/diagrams-and-installation-information
@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 cool yeah I been studying that manual front and back trying to figure where I should set it lol. Right now it's around 38hz with 2db boost and on wide. Sounds like some low frequency songs really pound and some are not. I figured if my box is tuned to 33hz I didn't need to be right on 33hz. But if I play bass tones from 33hz to 60hz they sound loud as well. So maybe jus some songs have crazy bass notes. My jus play with it jus don't have rta to see where or if I do have allt of bass roll off
@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 hey dude question, if I do a frequency sweep like from 30hz to 45hz and measure the output with a volt meter should it be roughly close to the same? Jus trying to figure out where I need to set my parametric eq setting and how much boost to give it. I know my subwoofer ported box is tuned to 33hz should I set parametric eq close to that frequency? I did a 30hz to 40hz sweep and almost sounded like 35hz 36,37,38 rolling off then started picking up at like 39 40hz range. Was gonna see if I could measure it someone with a volt meter to check jus wasn't sure how or if I could do that and jus measure voltage from my sub amp speaker terminals. Thanks
@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 hey dude question, towards the end of the video when you made those repairs, was you jus playing pink noise through the rta with your wavetechDQ rca plugged into the rta? Was jus trying to figure out if that's how I will have to repair my frequencys or would I play a 40hz -0 db track and see what the rta says that way to make the repairs? Thanks
I’m not convinced that this is such a better option. There are a multitude of restoration units basically (high level converter) that are cheaper than audio control. The idea that it boosts preamp voltage to reduce amp gain is not enough for me, unless you in the market to eliminate gain control on an amp. Otherwise, your product does what most converters do with restoration.
I would suggest you re watch the video. This is not an Audiocontrol product, nor is it just a "boost of a preamp." The LinkDQ allows you to correct for low bass frequency availability, which has a clipping indicator built in. The idea that you have a better signal thus your amplifier is more efficient is just a benefit. And there are "cheaper" options, and when you look at the spec sheet of said devices, you can see why that is. Any LOC that is similar to the linkDQ is a copy. Just look at the frequency response of other units. Audiocontrol is all hype and offers nothing special
@lljcustomscaraudiofabricat7854 I was looking at purchasing the linkDQ for my 2020 Ram 1500. I have the base package no factory amp or factory sub jus 6 speakers along with ANC mics on headliner. Do you know if my Ram has bass roll off or enough to really worry about? That's why I was gonna get the LinkDQ but was thinking I might regret not putting a 4 channel amp on my door speakers and may get the wavetech link 6. Only things is it doesn't pin point frequencys like the DQ does. You think I'll be good with the link6 or would the link dq be better for my system?

@tonyzeno2715 and it's better priced. You should definitely give it a try

Does the Link8 have this function built in? I know I need the Link8, but do I need both?
Do you have this for the 21 sierra with bose that taps into the subwoofer signal ?
Yes we do it is our Bose R2G T-harness

Are you going to make some videos on the new Wavtech amplifiers?
Absolutely digging, anything I'm particular you would like us to go over ?

Crickets
What app are you using to see the frequencies you're getting out of the wavtech?

How do I purchase a t harness for a 2018 dodge grand caravan gt.
Could I use this for a 2019 Honda Accord ex base model since I can’t change out the factory head unit
My car doesn’t have factory amp but I’m trying to put subs /aftermarket amps for highs and sub
Yes you definitely can. You dont need a T-harness you just need a left and right speaker signal

Which gain do I use? The linkdq or the one on amp?
If your amp has one then use the amp other wise the LinkRC is an option
I use the GAIN on the wavtech and keep the amplifier GAIN all the way down
I’m looking for a t harness for a 21 Silverado w/Bose
