That sushi pattern is so cute! I'm really happy you enjoyed all the little goodies I sent over, and I can't wait to dive into our SAL next month. It's so daunting but it will be so fun lol! I am also behind on the Deadly Aquarium SAL. I've had all kinds of shenanigans with it. But I'll just keep going!

I loved them! ❤️ Yep, I've been looking at the A.C. chart, and thinking I've lost my mind. 🤣 I'll just take it one stitch at a time. I haven't had any problems with the Deadly Aquarium SAL thus far. It's just a big frame. Once I get that done, I'll breathe a sigh of relief. 😬😅 I was really glad the Vampyrum was such an easy stitch, although it had some confetti. At least I'm basically caught up with it. I'll just keep stitching away on the Aquarium! Lol

Hi Sherry! Wonderful that you have been able to keep up with all those SALs other than Deadly Aquarium and that looks huge. I love that your daughter has given you your sewing orders already for the holidays. Did she specify which colors she wants them in? Poor Artemis and Hecate! Sounds like Cheeto lost that battle for sure. Kristal and Eric lost power from the storms on Wednesday morning so I basically had Walter Saturday night until around noon Sunday, Monday evening until Thursday morning when mom took him and his cousins to the library as it was too hot for them to sleep. Their power came back on 3 days sooner than projected. One of my friends who lives a bit south of Dallas had trees down in the front and back yards and lost power for 3 days. We got some thunder and lightning here, little rain and with all this heat an humidity have been enjoying watching the lightning bugs. We have been up around a heat index of 113-115 so imagine you were even warmer since you normally have more humidity. My daughter lived in the Houston area for a while since she had a job there and had to drive the "damned bridge" every day to get to and from work. She absolutely hated that thing. Hope you have a wonderful couple of weeks with those boys and Hecate. Happy crafting and gardening. Dawn

Hi! How are you feeling? No, my daughter didn't specify colors, so that means I can choose. Sometimes, she'll go "shopping" through my patterns AND fabric, but usually, she just tells me she wants whatever. I found a remnant of some white faux fur with colorful polka dots. I think that might be a cute kitty. I have some other faux fur scraps in various colors, so I'm sure I can come up with a cute puppy. Ugh! You definitely had it rougher than we did during the storms! At least the power came back on sooner rather than later there. We had a few tree limbs come down, but that's it. Our power was flickering, but we didn't lose it entirely. Our yard is under several inches of standing water, but that will go down in a few days, as long as we don't get any more rain. We've certainly been suffering the humidity, though. As soon as you step outside, you're just wet. It's awful! Even worse, they're predicting a rough hurricane season. I really don't need that headache. Artemis would super glue herself to me. Lol. I've amazed myself at how caught up I am with the various SALs. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to manage it. I'll figure something out with the Deadly Aquarium. It's not a difficult stitch. It's just a big one. The Herbalist, Femurs and Fungi, and Beautiful Biomes are all easy. The pieces are small and don't take long to stitch. The Vampyrum is bigger, and each piece takes 2-3 stitching sessions to complete. Deadly Aquarium is the biggest, though. We'll see if I can get it under control before I lose my mind. 🤣 So good to hear from you! I hope you're feeling better! Take care, my friend! ❤️

@@HecatesNeedle-ei6xj I am sicker than the devil again. The ENT doc was really impressive though. He took 1 look with the otoscope and immediately said that it looked like I need sinus surgery but is trying a course of steroids first and some kind of compounded nasal rinse with antibiotics in it. He also ran a camera up and into my sinuses, and suctioned them but you would never know it from the amount of mucus I am still blowing out. He ordered a repeat CT of my sinuses and one of my chest to be done in 2 weeks. If I improve, I don't need to go back to see him but it sounds like if I don't improve, then it is surgery which I would not look forward to but if it ends this continuous cycle of illness, I will go through with it. Hope your standing water has soaked in so that you don't get mosquitoes even worse. Thanks for inquiring about how I am doing. Hope they are wrong about the hurricane season predictions for your sake. We don't get much in the Austin area from hurricanes and the house that it sounds like we will be moving to is 53 miles further north, close to Killeen. They are talking about a 2-year lease to protect us from rent increases during that time and we are happy with that at a minimum if the house passes when we go to view it. I am waiting to hear back from the real estate guy as to when the showing will be so it could be soon. It is a 4 bedroom with solar power already in place and includes the washer/dryer, a deep freeze, usual kitchen appliances, a decent back yard that is fenced in for both Walter and mom's Maine Coon cat who loves to be outside and is really good on a leash or even without it. Looking forward to the viewing of the home. Take care my friend and have fun with your daughter's animals. Will be looking forward to your plans and progress on them. Best of luck with the Deadly Aquarium and Vampyrum SALs.
