Hi Suzanne I would do a restart on Libra….. better to cut your losses now than invest more time into something you’re not sure about. It looks to be more than just the stars - the pattern picture has more gradients through the light patch in the sky. On camera the actual stitch of the light patch looks a bit “blobby”, if that makes sense. Of course, it may well less blobby in person 🙂 Lunar New Year is in February, so technically you’ll have 8 months of Dragon stitching in The Year Of The Dragon 🐉👍🏻 Oh my goodness, the heart pattern with the fox on it 😍 And the wildlife picnic is absolutely gorgeous!!! I think you should definitely stitch that 😁 Fox, owl, badger, cake, scones with cream and SQUIRRELS 😍🥰 😂😂
Hi Anthea, thanks for helping with the dilemma. One to ponder 😊 There were some gorgeous patterns in the magazines, really pleased with them.... And I seem to see squirrels everywhere 🐿🐿😂
Do a restart with quality materials. Why use inferior with such detailed Quality stitching. Sorry for being straight to the point. ..... as if i knew what i was talking about. You are great fun
You should just do the restart for the Libra. I was in the same predicament, I couldn't decide to restart my project. I talked myself over and over that it's no big deal and just continue working on it, but evey time I would pick it up, it would bother me that the part that I worked on, it's not the way it should look. Finally I decided to restart and I'm so happy with it because now it looks like it's supposed to. It's worth the restart. It will always bother you until you start it over.
Lovely to spend time with you Suzanne! Thank you so much for mentioning my first FT - it's so kind of you! Happy stitching ;)
Hi Sian, you're very welcome. It was a fab video and really looking forward to seeing another one 😊
The dream pattern is actually a design from Emma Congdon from the book Cross stitch for the earth.

@@MegaSmilingstar Hi Mum, I think you may be right on this one 😊

Hi Josiane, thank you for your comment, I appreciate your helping with this dilemma and for sharing your experience 😊
I would swap out the floss for the stars to something that will pop. Maybe a Kreinik or petit treasure braid?
Hi Claudia, thank you for your comment suggesting a change for the stars. Definitely will consider this even if I do a restart 😊
