what caliber, what barrel length and what twisting step?! I ask because I recently bought a bergara but a b14 tumbhole wilderness in caliber 308win with a step of 1:10 and a barrel length of 20 inches, just finished break in barrel, and try some lead bullets, I have tried 3-4 types of bullets so far but they were all lead and I would like to hunt with a non-lead bullets, what surprised me was that the worst grouping of all was the eld-x of 178 grains, catastrophic.I'm interested in which fox bullets would be best grouped, I have 150 and 165 grains at my dealer. greetings
Congratulations on finding the load and the bullet for your gun. I wanted to test the fox hunter classic, but they dont sell them in Norway i think. What do you think about the Barnes tipped TSX 130 gr or 110 gr whit the Bergara BA13?
@@TheDeercast ok many thanks. If you shoot 10, then clean, shoot 10 then clean.... keep doing this you may find you get to where you want to be quicker. All barrels are different. Some thumbhole out of the box, others can take some work.

@@conorburke1550 in this test we only used two different types of ammunition - the Fox 130gr and the Yew Tree 112.5gr. Both are thumbnail.
Contessa makes a aftermarket rail for your gun, thats the one i use.

@@EvyHatleset in our experience the heavier bullets work best. 130gr might work, but 150gr will likely be better.

How many rounds have you had to put through it to tighten your groups and what was your cleaning procedure?. Just for my reference.
@@kris308100 Harry might have put 75 rounds through it. Prior to this test Harry hadn’t cleaned the rifle!
