- This week's video is a travel vlog of what it is like to fly as an unaccompanied minor with the airline KLM! I hope you enjoy this week's video! Thanks for watching!
i'm 14 and flying by myself from Atlanta to Manchester:(( i'm so nervous i'm bad at airport directions and finding the correct terminal and stuff:(
The first time I flew by myself was when I was 15. I actually had to change plane at some point, since it was a corresponding flight. At first I was scared but then I found out that I had nothing to worry about. I had no trouble with signs ect but if you get confused at some point you can always ask the airport's staff, that's literally what they are paid to do 😉
I’m doing the same thing but from Orlando but I’m gonna have a lay over
caroline omg in the uk? cause i’m going there too really soon
@@larrystylinsonsbridesmaid7866 yeah!! i love it here :)
caroline is it bad? or racist or robbery or anything?
It's been ten years since I've flown.
Now I gotta fly alone, as a minor, internationally with not one, but TWO layovers.
I'm kinda freaked out dude
Update: Everything went well, except for the fact that I couldn't sleep at all cause my legs are too long to be comfortable in economic class seats 😥 lmao
I have to fly internationally with my little brother. (I'm 14 and he's 8) Same dude.
When I was 11 I had 4 layovers. One was and 8 hour layover in Paris.
Neo Nefarious how did it go?! what plane did u guys go
in a few months im gonna fly alone internationally and i'm just 15....
@@jadecartier1108 haha oof
i’m flying by myself soon to my grandparents as a unaccompanied minor too and i’m so scared!
That’s exactly what I do 🤯
Sameee
So I'm going to have to fly alone with my little brother, we're moving to Europe for my mom's new job, my mom is already in Europe and my dad doesn't have the nessicary doccuments to go over yet, but we have been out of school and we need to go back to school, it's more complicated than that as well since I've already finished the year I'm going to school in. I'm 14 btw. I've never had that much freedom in my life and I'm TERRIFIED.
I'm flying by myself for the first time and my brother is as well.
How was it

I’m from Boston and I’m flying to Kenya with KLM in 13, this made me feel better
Great video. I see you got my favorite airplane, the Boeing 747, aka the Queen of the Skies
I’m flying by myself for the first time in a couple of weeks but I’m not considered an unaccompanied Minor on the airline bc I’m 14. I’ve flown so many times in my life so I know what to expect but I’ve seen videos of minors sitting next to strangers and getting harassed so I’m kinda scared lol I usually always sit next to my siblings or parents. Anyway great vid loved the editing!
Hannah Olivia Good luck! I hope it goes well!
Hannah Olivia just want to ask what Airline did u go on because I’m 14 and I’m also going to travel but I was wondering what airline did u go on
Ahmad Salah Alaskan air but I didn’t like it that much. JetBlue Is nicer and they have the same policy
Hannah Olivia oh u are on America airlines I’m going with Emirates from Australia to Egypt in December
@@hannaholivia8764 I fly unaccompanied minor with Alaska Airlines all the time and I'm 15 its 75$ for the service because I have a connecting flight
Im flying to my grandparents as well, this is the first time I will be on a plane alone. I'm not scared, but the only thing I am worried about is the fact that I have really bad allergies and im afraid If I sneeze someone will totally freak out
Thanks so much for making this video. I was actually really curious to know what the experience of being a UM is like. I've flown alone, but not as a minor.
I am about to fly alone I was so scared this made me feel so much betternlol
I used to be scared of flying in a plane and now I watched this video I know someone will be there. This video helped a lot.
This vid was amazing, as I’m 11 and might be going alone to England from Australia this actually made me a bit less worried!! But amazing vid!! I’m subbing
BRO- this is such good quality- yeesh- so underrated
Cant wait your video from Bulgaria for Bulgaria :)
this video is helping me to much at the moment because i’m flying with klm to the balkans as well as an unaccompanied minor!!
I’m about to fly from North Carolina to Montana as a unaccompanied minor and honestly I was nervous but honestly I’m not really worried anymore good video!
I flew alone onboard Condor's 767 twice when I was 13! It was super enjoyable for me. (It was in August 2019). I got on the plane first on at least one of the two.
im also a Unaccompanied Minor going to my home country Bulgaria and im going to use Airline KLM so this video helped me ty :)
Ahah good ol’ O’Hare airport, that’s my local airport as well! This video was very helpful, I’m going to Canada in a couple of days as an unaccompanied minor (14, I could totally do it without help but I’m too afraid to) This really helped me out, thanks! ( I found it funny that I immediately recognized the airport as I often drop off family there, and also go on vacations every now and then lmao)
Omg wait that was o’hare?!? I didn’t even notice lol. I live in north west Indiana and I love like 30 mins from Chicago so o’hare is my local airport too lol
Yes it is O’Hare!
For people that are going to travel by yourself it’s ok cuz if you feel like your alone there is tons of people making sure you safe and don’t get lost
Love that! i will do this on summer 2022! very nice edit!
I’ve traveled alone 2]twice and it makes me so happy to see someone else flying alone cause some ppl hate my parents bc of this but honestly it is actually fun
I love this video and you're so charismatic
Thank u sooo much this helps so much. I am flying with my 11 and 6 year old brother and I’m a ten year old so this helps a lott
Thanks for this video it really helps :)
On American Airlines, you may not travel alone at 0-4. 5-7 may only travel unaccompanied on nonstop flights. 8-14 may travel unaccompanied on connecting flights but there are some broad restrictions. 15-17 may generally travel unaccompanied but countries may set certain restrictions on traveling alone. Generally, 2-14 may travel if they are with someone 16 or older. Whenever possible, it’s best that 2-14 is accompanied by someone 16 or older. However it’s sometimes unavoidable in which case you really need to check whether your child can travel to that destination and unaccompanied and what’s required for them to do so.
Just travelled myself today! and it was quite an experience!
Everyone thats scared don't be afraid traveling alone is so fun iv also been in the KLM unacompanied minor lounge and it's great you'll love it
BUT WHAT IF YOU GET LOST OR SOMETHING IM TERRIFIED. :(
@@rebeccaorevi8922 There is a very low chance you’ll get lost because flight attendants are with you every step of the way from security to even when you land
Can you like go out of the unaccompanied minor lounge, I’ll be flying with klm with the unaccompanied minor service and I’ll have a 20 hour layover so I was thinking if you could actually go out of the lounge and explore the airport.
i will be flying ALONE for the FIRST TIME in December to visit my grandparents; very excited probably going to make a vlog about it ;)’
Yooo I was looking for videos because I’m going to be flying alone this week and what I found funny is I have been to that airport before 😂
I have seen so many travel with me video because I am going to go to Mexico in three mouths and I am really excited and Genuinely this is and amazing and good video 😊
I’m going to Mexico too.
@@Vpentrov really the cool I just got back!!
if u still remember,,, did u pick the unaccompanied minor service? Because im flying without it in 3 weeks and i am curious if it will go in the same fashion for me,
I’m 15 and I might end up flying alone for the first time in like two weeks. I might be traveling as an adult and not an unaccompanied minor though. I kind of wanna know what the process would be like as a minor traveling alone through the airport.
wat een top vidoe ik hou van de muziek stukjes ga zo door topper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks this helped out my 12 year old nephew will be flying alone
UGH YOUR SO LUCKY when i flew alone i had to sit next to a random mad AND I HAD WINDOW SEAT it wasnt a long flight so i was able to hold it it 😅
Hi Toni!
I'm ready to send my 12 y.o. son from Ohare to Bucharest to see his grandparents. We're still working on picking the tickets since Swiss is the only airline that will do connection flights for minors. Rest will only do non-stop. I'm originally from Romania and currently live in Wisconsin. I was really nervous bc I didn't know what to expect as far as what his journey would look like but your video put me at ease. I'm curious how the flight back went since the customs part can be a little iffy. Thank you!
Florin
Hey I am coming from srilanka so what should I do if I get stuck in between or don’t know what to do and can all the documents be prefilled
Thank you for sharing. Have a son in Brasil that is anxious to fly alone.
Im so happy u went to Bucharest :D its my home town!
I’m flying to Amsterdam for a WEEK without my mum and I’m a bit scared to go! Any advice?
Omg you live near Chicago too!!! I’m flying by self for the 2nd time in two to three weeks!! And I’m doing a vlog too ♡
I love O’Hare
Hi
My local airport is o’hare tooo
What an amazing trip. What document do you bring with you to customs and immigration? My daughter is traveling alone to Spain next month I am so nervous about her.
I'm 13 and I have 2 layovers, one of them is 10 hours and altogether it will take me 30 hours to get to my destination. I'm freaked out.
My mom used to work at O’Hare 🥳🥳
Can you please explain how airports work😰 this is my second time flying alone im 14 please help!
This is making me feel a lot better about traveling alone I was born and raised in Oregon but almost abt a year ago me and my family moved to Michoacán Mexico I’m planning on traveling on airplane to go visit friends and family me and my sister are us citizens while my parents are not which means we’ll have to go alone this made me feel a lot better abt it tho 😭
How old were you? And we’re you able to check in by yourself?
Hello love your video and I’m flying as a UM spsoon with KLM too! Please can you tell me how you got permission to film and have you got any tips for me to vlog mine too? Thanks Toni!
Hi, I'm 15 years old and I would also like to travel somewhere, but my parents won't let me go unless I call them 10 times a day and give them the exact location and how I'm going, etc ...
:(
This was so helpful! I want to fly to visit my grandparents but the flight would be about 4 hours and it’s been really hard convincing my parents! This gave me a little bit of hope!
I’m so scared to fly across the us without family, I am 15 but I heard the airlines do give minor service so that’s good!
Flying by myself in a few weeks and I feel like I am prepared I hope! Wish me luck! I hope Portugal will be lovely, but I do have to have a connection so that is a bit scary 🤍🛩️
same but i been watching videos like this
Lol next week I'm going on a two hour flight as a 10-12 minor by myself this rlly helped aha-
It actually went rlly well :D there was a really nice lady sitting next to me and the flight attendants gave me extra food💕
That’s crazy I’m going to visit my grandparents as and unaccompanied minor
This summer I’m gonna go visit my grandma in. Puerto Rico for a whole month and I’m so happy but so nervous 😭
Yo this summer I’m gonna go to usa Virginia to my dad 😮 for the entire may month and I’m scared too ESPECIALLY THE IMMIGRATION PROCESS idk what to say I hope they don’t ask too much :3
gosh you are underrated
I’m 12, flying from San Diego to Nashville aboard a Delta flight with a few friends to visit our friend who moved. We wanna surprise our friends. All planned out! Nervous though.
Hey! I’m flying alone tomorrow as a “young traveler” (I’m 12) but I just have to do everything by myself like getting bags, going to all my gates, etc. I have no Stewart’s/flight attendants helping me so it’s going to be fun 😅😅
what company?

@@Ruby-vk8rkI believe southwest
Yo what immigration questions did they ask you?
They asked nothing and yes southwest
How was like the information thing with them 🥺🥺 like to check everything and the information u had to give em if ur mom or parent had to be there
I’ve only flown twice, both times to fort worth,Texas (so at least I know the airport a little bit) but I’m going again this summer but this time alone. I’m really scared since I’m not experienced with flying and I’m only 14.
Ay also live in Dallas tx
Same I’m sacred i flying and I am 14
This summer me and my sis are flying as unaccompanied minors (she’s 15 and I would be 13 by then) but we’re no just flying to another state.. WERE FLYING TO CANADA💀💀💀
To anyone trying to fly just be sure its okay to ask for help if u cannot direct yourself
ok, first how did you know where to go like when you arrived at the airport, I need details bc I gotta fly soon and I’m low key scared
i dont know if you flew already, but i assume when you go to the airport, you first go up to an employee and tell them your an unaccompanied minor and they help you, or a parent can go help you find your way
I have flown alone before, your parent will basically still do everything for you. The only part where you're actually alone is on the plane but even then the flight attendants will check on you.
AliCat 123 okie ty
I say look for signs
When you arrive as an unaccompanied minor, you will not be let on your own. You will only be released to a person previously designated to meet you.
flying alone, 14 years old with KLM! columbia to London hehe
Did anyone have to check you in like a parent ?

i might be flying alone with 1 layover and i hope i get the seat on the inside (not the window?). i think it would be safer sitting near the aisle incase of harassment etc.
I have to fly alone as a minor because I’m moving. But I know my way around the airport because I go every year
Im 11 and flying in like 2 weeks from now to Florida for the 3rd time as an unaccompanied minor this time I have to fly with my 6 year old brother 🙃😅😐

where were you flying from
From Chicago O’Hare to Romania (ultimate destination was Bulgaria).
Do i need a permission from my parents to flight ? I must do a stop in Miami and i‘m so scared.
There is alot of paperwork involved.
