I have a question. My wife is portuguese. we live in Long Island. She is trying to get me to visit portugal and Lagos. My biggest issue is ive heard Algarve is a very British area. I'm Irish, originally from Kilarney. I don't want to be around English people. Is Lagos a very English spot? my wife has not been since 2007 so she cannot answer this question for me.

@@miked2075 well.. that is a tough one to answer. Honestly we felt we met people from all over but I think we met more Canadians to be honest. Lagos is a relatively large community that you would probably meet at sorts of different cultures. It’s a very popular travel destination now and there seemed to be people from all around the world. The people were very friendly and we had a fantastic time. I don’t think you have to worry. It’s a pretty beautiful place and the county amazing. Thank you for watching! Cheers 🍻 Chris and Jim

We stayed in Lagos on the coast overlooking Mirador Praia Dona Ana. Beautiful views and beach. While visiting, make sure to rent a kayak or do a kayak tour...the cliffs and coastline are incredible. Great restaurants and bakery's in town ..Pie Lagos, The Ol Bastard, Empanadas and Co, Padaria Central.

Thank you for this little tour of Lagos. One thing… it would be nice if the man could say what he wanted to say without being interrupted by his wife! ❤

Been to Lagos many times over the years. It’s still my favourite place in the Algarve and I’m heading there in June, looking forward to it.

Hi, we will be visiting Lagos in March. Do you know what it will be like over there then? And what is the food like and what are the prices like? Thank you love your vlog

Thank-you so much for your kind words , it means a lot to us! The weather looks pretty nice at that time of year, 12-25 degrees C as the norm from what google says. But you never know with weather. We found that in the center of the tourist areas food can be more spendy but we managed to find meals between 10-15 Euro. There are lots of fish/seafood options but we were able to find a nice variety for all tastes. There were always loads of choices. Hope this helps, and enjoy your vacation! Cheers Chris and Jim!

Honestly that’s a hard question. I loved them both. But to stay for awhile i’d choose Lagos. I loved the coastal cliffs.

Hey, thanks for watching our video! Lagos is a cool place...walk the old town and get lost in the streets, check out the beaches with the large rocks, there is a great walkway along the cliffs, and the marina is cool with some boat trips there as well. Enjoy some of the cafe's too! Enjoy your time there and have fun 😊. Cheers, Chris and Jim!
