Making Renaissance medieval gloves..! 100% made of steel and leather!

Hey, guys, here's a tutorial on some Renaissance-style medieval gloves, crafted from steel and leather. Inspired by the gloves of Maximilian I of Habsburg, Emperor of the Sacred Roman Empire in the 16th century.
It's a job entirely done in carbon steel, with a smooth sheet of 1mm thickness, and cold-forged. The inside of the glove is made of high-quality, flexible fallow deer leather.

Great artistry and skill! The dexterity looks outstanding. Well done! The finish you used on the metal, is it just for color or also protective of the metal from corrosion?

Thanks so much mate…! I really appreciate u comment..! 😊😊🙌🏻 I've used a cold bluing process, it's a chemical method to protect the metal from corrosion. And to darken it even more, I applied leather and shoe wax, giving it an extra shine and a rustic touch!😊👍any question shoot me..! 👍👍😊

muchas gracias amigo!! depende las zonas de la armadura, en algunas partes y piezas uso de 1.5mm de espesor y en otras piezas que necesitan mas resistencia uso 2.00 mm de espesor, pero basicamente esos son los rangos del grosor de acero que uso
