This is just my opinion, play whatever you want tbh
Dude I started subbing to you yesterday and I can say that you earn it af :)
Sorry bro can’t do that I need to be able to blame you for my failures
Ramma S
Sym onetrick here. Would love to see her get some buffs like a shorter cast time on her turrets and TP and a flat 2-3% damage buff. I specifically chose 2-3% because the overwatch community is one of the most toxic communities there is and if the community sees that sym got buffed they immediately send death threats. I'm not even memeing at this point she over needs at least a small damage buff. People will complain about Sombra/kiriko but won't complain about tracer? I'm not encouraging hate I'm just saying it's highly unfair for people to send literally death threats for a character that is decent at best in the current meta.
Thank you for being real about Symmetra, everyone who doesn't play her thinks shes OP with the projectile size change, but unlike most of the DPS Heroes, Sym has to charge her attacks for like 30 years to do any damage
Yeah nah. False.
Cringe Sym player no one likes going against her.
@@RandomVids0987lol skill issue
Anyone with a brain outside of metal knows that Symmetra is pretty garbage nowadays. If you think she’s op then that’s the skill issue big time 😭😂 it’s like calling Reaper OP or Junkrat OP… no one says that besides the cardboard 5 players
Sym should not be good, such cheese with no skill
25:10 "Green Oreo" I think you meant LUCIO-OH'S 🔥🔥🔥
nice
Imo reaper falls out of B tier at the higher ranks in most situations unless your team is very communicative/forcing the plays around him. Even with the HP change it feels real easy to get forced out of an engagement when the enemy team is actually working together
Well he said as a tank killer primarily.
thanks you brooooo you have no idea how helpful these meta videos are. especially after hot fixes and what not. subscribed
OMG I've been waiting for this video for soooo long !
Always my personal favorite tier list and only one I have some trust in
I don’t even play Overwatch anymore but watch your content because your video style is so clean.
Make Symmetra useful for more than 1 season in overwatch history challenge
She's always just going to be bad on half the maps, like Zarya. Just how it is n
Rework Symmetra challenge 😍
The misconception of symmetra :P she was in a decent spot before the turret nerfs (S2-S5). And then after the orb buff she was ok too (S6-S7). But after they reduced her shield (S8) and now they didnt give her buffs for S9 (everything in her kit is slow asf and does low dmg, the only valuable thing is beam but beam is always extremely hard to charge especially this season), she feels horrible. Yes lucio can boop her away but most of the time you DO have a lucio in your team which synergize well with symmetra. She is good antidive too. So the fact that she has the worst dps winrate and her pickrate is the second worst in the whole game speaks a lot of her current state.
Main Symmetra: stopped playing after S8.
sym was only bad for s8 and s9
imagine maining rein and junk where they are consistently bad the entirety of ow2
@@wasabebo8334 don't forget season 1. Her beam gain/decay was the same as OW1 and she felt horrible.
Thank you. I was waiting patiently for your tier list as I value your opinion. I may not play at your level, but I appreciate the insight and I try to apply what I can, where I can.
Great vid. Love the clips to back up your argument.
Mei is a GREAT tool to have in your arsenal. Not a great hero to main this season but when the conditions are good for her to be played she can dominate
If a popular hitscan DPS was considered ''a great tool to have'' instead of a viable DPS hero, all the trains would be stopped to fix it.
Mei should be a competent DPS hero first and wallbot second. I miss when Mei could actually outduel other DPS that arent Sym. Make Soldiers afraid of Mei again.
big fat mei should be a tank
I still dont understand how tracer has been meta for the last few seasons, HOWEVER, what baffles me is that she's pretty much insane at this point because not only did they buff her damage on the previous season but now with the hitbox increase and the HP pool buff, she's pretty much unstoppable...
They really need to show some love to the rest of the roster besides tracer and sojourn...
They love Tracer so much, it's fucking sick
@theanalqueen I pretty much respect most of the heroes but this is getting really annoying and exhausting after so many seasons...
Well she IS the poster girl and god forbid anyone nerf the poster child or make them unviable in any way.
she should be good. Shes an honest character with a lot of risk. The problem is when characters with less skill expression are better. Be grateful.
Tracer is absolutely nuts right now. She's easily my worst hero but I've been building entire pulse bombs just panic contesting payloads in overtime (which is the only time I play her).
Probably the best tier list I’ve seen so far
we all know reaper should be even lower 😢
@@kingmoosh2004stop crying console player
@@kingmoosh2004what? He can easily kill half tanks in game
@@Micha-ds5vy everybody can easily kill tanks bro its season 9 haha
@@Micha-ds5vytracer do that better than reaper lmao
i’ve always thought with illari that they could do the same thing with her boop that they did with lucio, obviously this wouldn’t fix her but it sure would help
I firmly believe that Mercy will never ever be bad as long as blue beam gives an advantage to your DPS compared to theirs.
As long as there are cracked hitscans around, Mercy will always be there
"Cracked hitscans". Anyone can look good and pretty in the leaderboard with a pocket mercy. That's the problem, people abuse tf out of it and it leads to a bad and boring experience no matter which team you're on.
If you're with the mercy pocket duo you don't experience the game as much and get carried OR even get ignored by Mercy and just have to play with 1 support.
If you're against the mercy pocket then you just get rolled no matter what, you can't challenge, peek, contest, pressure (you name it) them ever.
@@immartyfromowteam8064thats lowkey a skill issue
As a mercy main I would agree except that I keep getting teams with no hitscan players and a Lucio or Zen as the other support 😭😭😭😭 and not even a Pharah or Echo either. It’s just nonstop Tracer Sombra Torb Genji, etc
if that were the case, mercy would actually get consistent play
she doesn't@@immartyfromowteam8064
15:28 and that’s my biggest issue with Sombra. Even if she’s not being effective, she makes the entire game about finding her
That’s a lie. A single Genji dash can keep up with her, Tracer who’s now a must pick can also easily keep up
bruh thats the point of any dps hero, if a widowmaker is doing her job getting headshots, then the enemy teams job is to stop that widow
@@courirnorte8137 ok but you know where the Widow is lmao. You don’t have to check under every rock wondering where and when the widow is going to attack from. Facing widow is a shooter game, facing sombra becomes hide and seek
She needs a rework tbh or nerf the virus
@SILK97 well, it's not hide and seek since sombra can be detected in a variety of ways: close proximity, hanzo and widow's abilities, tanks and DPS who 'spycheck' (shoot all around to try and damage the invisible sombra). I'm a sombra player and I will tell you, it's easy to be found if ur not careful.
KarQ the goat for putting all the placements on the thumbnail
About the doom bugs, they barely fixed bugs he has. I still have the bug when you punch Brig/Rein/Doom sometimes and also another bug on the slam when i turn my camera.
I was playing Brig yesterday and knocked down a doom while he was charging his punch, the bug is definitely still there.
he's fixed enough to be played in OWCS, so they probably won't care
and the camera lock when you land spam
dude slam locking your vision is absolutely MISERABLE, it feels horrible
@@domcurkio3228Since when does charging punch give CC invulnerability? The bug was that bash colliding with punch (not punch charge) knocked down only the doom.
Just got back into overwatch. you are now my new channel!
The dropoff on burst means sustained damage hits even harder. Minimum TTK on a rapid steady damage increases by about 25%, but minimum TTK on everyone else increases by 50%, and minimum TTK on characters like Kiri and Illari increase 100%. I'm putting Kiri in B tier, only kept out of C tier because Anti-nade remains a threat.
I liked your evaluation of lower ranks. I get that it may not line up with what's actually happening but I think your insight was interesting for us metal players.
6:30
You're a little more active in your second channel, but when you hit a video on this one, it is a banger
great vid once again 😎
Those 3 rein games out of the past 100 were probably against or with cloudy, not willing to surrender
Hey! I have a great idea that I'm SUUUPER curious to see!
I've seen tons and tons of these individual character list (I like yours a lot, btw!)
But what about a team comp tier list? Like is Lucio/Moira/Doom...etc better than Lucio/Kiri/Doom - if so, why?
I think a team list would be super interesting! Of course there's so many different combos, so you could break it down between dive/brawl and such. You could even be like "we're going to keep off the heroes you'll most likely never use *cough Illari cough* and for more info on that - reference *this* video!"
Anyways, just a video suggestion for something I'd love to see. Cause it's hard to know what to swap to moreso benefit entirety of the team.
Thanks for the knowledge - this was fun!
The only way to win as rein is to beg the enemy to duel him as rein.
Question for the theoreticians: What can be done to make Rein viable? The fact that he can't do damage while tanking, and his limited mobility, make his kit impossible to balance without making him a stat monster. Generate shields when he does damage? Vertical mobility? Idk.
he’s needs more sustain. his shield is ass and breaks apart in 2 seconds and that’s literally all he has.
a few ideas off the top of my head:
- more shield health
- faster movement speed while using shield to clear distance faster and waste less shield
- self healing or damage resist when charging?
i also think fire strike should 2 shot again. it’s not good for anything anymore, it’s just a way to charge ult. if they don’t want a 2 shot give it burn damage or some other kind of effect. it needs SOMETHING.
@heyheyhello3733 strongly agreed. He either needs serious shield buffs, or his effectiveness needs to improve once he's in. Because he can't get to where he needs to be more often than not.
Disagree with the shield health. It may change his identity but making him more of just a wall is boring imo. Faster with shield up I'm totally on board. Fire strikes either buff the dmg, the cooldown, or maybe give him 3? I haven't though much into this but more mobility/dmg potential I think would make him much more satisfying to play. Being a blob that soaks dmg is rather dull.
@TR-ju5re yeah I agree. I'm just making easy hypothetical changes that can help Rein get to his spots. His shield is basically paper rn...
Here's my radical idea, give firestrikes a buff where it leaves a path for 2 seconds that increases ally movement speed by 10% or make it so enemies that are hit are slowed for 20% for 2 seconds. I think this alone would make rein more viable since it's pretty decent utility
I honestly think Pharah is at minimum like a B+. I've played her mostly as a dive hero taking some potshots from the outskirts until someone is low enough to burst down, and then dash in and erase whatever is low. Direct hit + Concussion rocket is a kill on Tracer, and direct + splash from a second rocket + concussion is a kill on healers. She sort of feels like flying Genji to me. I would place her as the same tier as Genji, wherever most people would place Genji.
C is definitely deserved because of how awful her uptime is. Everything about the rework is good but the fuel change is abysmal. It's impossible to get any value from her boost without sitting on the ground for like 10 seconds. If she can regen some fuel while in the air b would be deserved, but right now she's not great.
@@domokuo6318yeah, they cut her air time down so much
What’s up KarQ, much love man
Can we just talk about HOW GREAT the DPS passive and support passive timing change was for Ball?
Now you have a bigger window of time to kill and chase supports.
And since healing is generally worse, his massive HP pool and picking potential got a lot better.
I’m finally eating well.
thanks for list, i liked it
I'm so glad you said the heroes that are easier to play have a "lower skill floor" because I'm tired of idiots thinking a higher skill floor means it's easier to play. Thank you KarQ. I knew you were a homie and the GOAT.
Who the heck thinks that?? Lol it should be obvious from the phrase itself!
You've got to be *correct* if you're going to bash other people, my guy.
Both terms (skill floor & skill ceiling) refer to the relation between skill/effort required on a hero, and the value/effectiveness/impact of that hero. In simpler terms, "skill required vs reward gained".
One effective way of illustrating this relation is with a graph. I trust you remember how those work from grade school, yes? The *dependent* variable goes on the Y axis, and the *independent* variable on the X axis.
Here, the dependent variable -- the "rewards/impact" the hero has, or how "strong/good" the hero is -- is charted against effort/skill required.
"Skill floor" refers to the lowest point along the Y axis contained by the line representing the relation. Conversely, the "skill ceiling" represents what rests on the other end of the spectrum -- the highest point in the graph on the Y axis.
The lowest point in the graph (which assumes the *least* amount of skill required along the x-axis) represents *the minimum level of effectiveness* the hero has, as it is at that point where the player's skill is *lowest*.
So, in other words, the "skill floor" describes the hero's strength *in the hands of the worst player*". When this point is *high* (comparatively) on the y axis, it indicates a hero that still benefits the team in some way, even in the hands of the scrubbiest player. Think launch Brig, or any overtuned new hero, really -- a high "skill floor" means that even in the hands of the shittiest player, even at the "floor" of the graph, they're still bringing something to the table. The higher up that "floor" is, the more they bring.
Widowmaker has a very *low* skill floor -- if you're bad at the game, you're straight up dead weight to the team. You miss your shots, and you bring *nothing* to the table.
Conversely, a hero, like, say, launch Baptiste or Brig, even if the player has doo-doo water cardboard-tier mechanics, will provide the team value simply by existing.
Lucio, for instance, has a higher skill *floor* than Ana. Even if the Lucio misses every single shot he takes, he is at the very least providing speed boost or AOE healing at all times. If Ana misses every shot SHE takes, she literally provides nothing to her team. Her skill *floor* is low.
The pros play heroes with high skill "ceilings" because they have the capability to bring out the hero's maximum potential. Naturally, in that case, they opt for the heroes with the *highest potential* since they have the skill to actually bring that out.
If you're gonna be calling people "idiots", you're gonna wanna make sure you're not actually incorrect. Just tossing it out there.
@@kohai-kun9261 I agree. To me, someone who has a high skill floor but low skill ceiling is one that works pretty well for newer players but doesn't have a lot of nuance or can't get that much more valuable even in the hands of a very experienced player. Meanwhile, one with a low skill floor and high skill ceiling is the opposite like the examples you mentioned.
I think other people are thinking in terms of having difficulty as the dependent variable (and maybe value as independent? I'm not sure what they're plotting for x). This makes sense to me when talking about a character having a "steep learning curve" or something having a "difficulty spike."
@@kohai-kun9261skill floor is the minimum amount of skill needed to get value on the hero. Looking at it like a graph with an independent and depent variable and tying it to skill ceiling the way you did is. Simply incorrect for the original definition of the word. If you're not good enough to get to the skill floor, you effectively can't play that character. You fundamentally misunderstood the meaning of skill floor and ceiling. If you're going to correct someone, make sure you're right
@@kohai-kun9261I normally wouldn't reply to a comment like this, but you seem smart enough that you might actually see reason if I explain this.
The problem with this definition of skill floor is that you've vastly overestimated what "zero skill" looks like. A player with skill approaching zero would be running into walls, falling off the map, etc., and so the low end of your graph would converge for all heroes. The skill floor for every hero (yes, even Brig) would be to offer absolutely nothing to the team. As a result, this definition of skill floor is actually useless.
That's why the term is generally taken to mean "a minimum skill level required to provide adequate value." An arbitrary definition, to be sure, but much more useful. We can say that Widowmaker has a high skill floor, because until you're able to hit shots, you won't be able to provide much value at all. Until you meet that skill floor, you're not really "playing the hero" as it were. Brig has a low skill floor, because hitting a few Whip Shots and standing around with your shield up throwing packs is acceptable Brig play that can win you games, and it isn't difficult to achieve.
You can think of the area between the skill floor and the skill ceiling as the range of skill that can be displayed on that hero, with the skill ceiling being the absolute max, and the skill floor being more like a "cost of admission," or "entry level." Until you hit the skill floor, you're not in a relevant skill range that's worth discussing.
I have no idea which is the original definition, because I don't study the history of these things, but the one I'm proposing is the one I heard first, and after thinking them both through, this is definitely the more useful one, as the other relies on false assumptions about how bad players can be. I hope this convinces you to use this definition going forward.
Can you talk about owwcs next tier list too? I loved watching it and I feel like the tournament play is peak overwatch.
3:35 closer to A in Lower Ranks if your Squishies don't know about the new passive
A second Reinhardt charge would be insane. I'd love to see it.
I wanna see a 2nd genji dash charge.
I think Hanzo should be given more a brawl identity, change the storm arrow with a damage over time arrow that tracks one particular enemy, and then replace the sonic arrow with a a bow swing to create distance. On top of that lower his damage and decrease his draw time, I think these changes would make the character more dynamic and interesting
It sounds decent for an idea for a character, I think they are just kinda fucked with Hanzo, cause brawl is stupid for a dude with a bow. They cleary wanted him to be a long range hero, as you would expect from a dude with a bow, but hes always kinda been a midrange hero. Who knows what they could do
Fuck it, bring back scatter 🧟
Have him be able to cycle between scatter arrow and storm arrow
I think that wouldn’t be his style, you play Hanzo like Arrge, an Assassin.
But to be honest, I think Hanzo has to get nerfed even more, he still dominates sadly…
@@010falcon not gonna lie that’s kind of a psychotic take but ok
Bro he can't one shot anymore.
As a Tracer main for a long time, considering how strong she is I am a little worried about they are gonna nerf her because it’s her entire kit that that is strong at the moment not one specific part.
I think that's the problem they give her too much movement
Should probably go back to 150 hp, or get her pistols damage reduced back to its original damage which was like 5? I forgor. Or maybe increase cooldowns on blink.
Let her keep the damage just lower the hp back to 150 because 175 hp saves her from a shit ton of break points. For example, Ashe, her gun does 75 damage, a headshot does 150. She can now survive a headshot shot from Ashe which is ridiculous
Good list!
When KarQ speaks, we listen. Keep up the content ❤
Ashe is good as a character herself, but as an Ashe main myself, you absolutely just need to swap when they go 2 dive characters or more. You can make it work if you communicate well with ur team; focus on throwing dynamites that can be followed up on before the dive hits and you insta die.
Great video
I will say Winston has been a lot of fun to play as I go in deal a bit of damage pop my shield to leave, rinse, and repeat. His alternating fire needs a damage buff as it’s not really my go to choice at any given moment due to how hard it is to combo unless you want to poke a few times but again that wastes time instead of normal fire a bit then dive drop bubble and then hop out.
you forgot to mention that symmetras head is pretty easy to hit, even more now with the projectile size changes. so pretty much anyone can crit her with ease aim wise anywhere, at any moment before she can even do anything as she needs to charge her short range beam and her orbs have the issue you described. but reddit will still complain that her 25 dps turrets are too op 🤓
I'm mostly sad for the Rein and Junkrat players. I hope all low tier characters get fixed soon.
Junkrat is S Tier this season personally (sincerely, a junk trickshot main)
Pharah at C rn is crazy. I recently tried playing her for the first time and she is super op. Either that or my opponents have sucked for 20 games in a row
Thank god a tier list from someone other than flats
emong getting booped off the map like that omg what a moment 💀
Rank just feels so off to me for some reason. I've been a masters-GM player, but doing these placement so far I've gone 7-0 on support (estimated diamond), 6-1 on dps (est. diamond) and 0-6 on tank (est. gold). All dps & support games feel like a higher rank than diamond, but not quite as high as I'm used to so they've been fairly easy... tank on the other hand feels awful. Last game someone said it felt like a bronze game & I couldn't agree more (even had a teammate tell me to play rein lol). I'm usually outperforming my dps & getting few deaths, but my experience on tank has just been awful. I don't know if I'm just failing to adapt, but I can't understand how all my games feel like roll or be rolled. My previous highest role feels so weird not having a single win on
This season (9) I have been having so many Moira/Zenyatta combo on my team, and it is abysmal. It is forcing me to play Soldier or Mei to survive.
Tracer, lucio and dva are my mains for their role, so im tempted to jump back to the game
One of the main reason lucio is better now is because they have more hp, to stay Alive.
I find myself having most heal often, and still having close to dps dmg. Tons of saves with BUMP, when reinhart dives, ramatha Want to smash, or Queen swinging the Are. Best support against against tracer too.
keep in mind, this tier list is for those that climbed at least into diamond 3. You will run Rein, Zarya, Hog, Orisa, Mauga, Bastion, Mei, Reaper, Ashe, Torb, Ilari, Moira, Lifeweaver, Mercy until you hit Plat. Than you go and try more Sigma, Sojourne, Tracer, Winston, Echo, Phara etc. stuff.. don´t play Doom or Ball, your team will not be able to understand what a dive is and rather gets you reported XD
I used to be diamond and now im gold, it's a nightmare

But those dps players are getting tired from playing this style pretty fast since they like to go in alone or first, than they die and are pissed. 😂

Whats your opinion on how pharah can't two shot basic health hero's with direct hits anymore? I find this a problem, cause before i used to focus their hit scan and just 2 shot them, now they can kill me faster cause they can't miss and the DPS is higher.
good
Revert Sym's beam decay, and give her a movement ability that lets her play risky to build charge. Or just give her a rocket launcher that 1 shots at this point

BUFF JUNKRAT EQUAL TO HOW OPPRESSIVE THE HITSCANS GOT WITH THIS UPDATE! I need 3 mines, I need 8 shots, quicker trap cooldowns… OR you can just up his damage to make him the same as he was last season. Make him able to one hit combo people again. Like he said, if you die to junk spam… that’s on you being bad. Also, can we PLEASE buff his tire?? It dies so fast and does NO damage now that everyone’s health is way higher. They buffed the CRAP out of DVA bomb, why not do the same to tire? It would only be fair.
Ilari in console is great. I have 70% winrate in more than 8h in master/gm lobby
Moira actually kills a little faster right now. She did 200 dmg over 4 seconds before (50×4=200) now she deals 65 per second, so that is 260 dmg in 4 seconds, meaning she kills a 25p hp target in like 3.87 seconds. .13 seconds isnt alot faster but you can actually notice it sometime. Altho, when combining it with a dmg orb her ttk is a little slower because dmg orb dmg isnt increased.
Personally I would put sojourn in S tier. I don’t play her often “Ashe main” but I play everyone and when things go wrong I just swap to sojourn. She gets picks so fast and her ult dominates. I’m in diamond so maybe it’s different past that rank.
Lifeweaver is still pretty good depending on the map. Like colloseo, kings row, that italian map i forgot the name
regardless of the dps passive, healing was nerfed by 20% relative to season 8 because of the 25% increase to health (it takes longer to heal to full health, this of course varies slightly based on the actual health increase). With the dps passive, healing is nerfed by 36% effectiveness from s8. with increased projectile sizes effectively increasing dps output support just feels terrible. like all of your high choice support were up there because of their damage output. So we're just less effective dps now...
They should buff Ana by giving her subsequent shots a percentage buff to counter the DPS one and promote hitting shots and pocketing tanks a bit better. It doesn't have to give the full 20% to counter the DPS, it could scale or something. Mercy should just be changed into a playable healing pilon or something.
I have been having a horrible time on Mercy this season. I think I’ve been having a normal experience as long as my team picks a normal comp. The issue is that we’re not picking normal comps. I keep getting Lucio or Zenyatta and non pocketable DPS which is the issue 😭 nonstop Genji, Tracer, Sombra, Torb, etc. instead of hitscan or Pharah/Echo which sucks because these DPS are still good this season.
as a lucio one trick, this is favorable
Near excellent tier list. I think Ram is not good in solo que ranked and Rein not that bad. Brig is also significantly worse than s8. I'd rank up rein to decent, i mean it's miserable to play him but it actually works. So much passive value in Rein if you know where to stand. I'd rank down Ram to decent too. Similar to Rein but i think worse than rein in solo que ranked. Ram excel in coordinated play though. Brig would also rank down to decent. As an all roles gm guy i approve this tier list.
I think if they lower the dps passive effect on tanks from 20% to 15% game will automatically be more balanced.
my buff list: ram nemesis form, brig armor, ana and mei ammo, lw heal, illari heal range, rein firestrike dot damage
nerf list: lucio. way too broken and wonky. make him normal but keep him strong. his boop feels like april1 arcade mode patch.
Rein is trash now XDD
seeing Ana in line with Hog and mercy makes my heart cry
I haven’t enjoyed playing Rein since OW1. I want a buff for him so bad.
Ashe dynamite needs to not retrigger the dps passive, it should apply on the front end and end after the standard 2 seconds
i honestly think moira is only shining this season because of the dps passive and because of how heavily rush the meta is atm. I really hope she's one of the cases of not getting nerfed because she really only feels strong because of characters like tracer, lucio, etc running around.
also i agree that lucio is very strong this season but i feel like you kind of gave him a tap on the wrist as to why. the projectile change is nice and all but speed boost is absolutely broken and i feel like it's important to mention that. yall will be quick to bring up damage boost but will act like speed boost doesn't exist lol.
Whenever I play hog into orisa it feels like i counter her more then they counter me is this just because I am in gold/plat and the orisas are bad or is hog actually good agents orisa
yes ana isnt has good as she used to be but she isnt C tier, she cant one shot people on her own but thats one her own, also she still has an amazing ult and nade which can shred any tank still and sleep can stop so many strong ults and on any dps character i still think he can confirm kills easily, but honestly i agree with everything else, just my opinion
I dream about the day when Lifeweaver will be a relevant meta pick
Please explain to my teammates who think me picking lucio is a troll pick because I don't have 10k healing 😂
Im almost positive none of them know what his abilities are
Same man. This comment is so relatable. He can be the best support in the game and you still get flamed for picking him. Meanwhile you get thanked for playing mercy, even though she sucks. DPS players understand nothing about the meta.
The doom punch bug with brig is still there
It cost me the game yesterday 😭
THE KNOCKDOWN BUG WITH BRIG + DOOM WAS NOT FIXED BTW! IT'S STILL ALSO THERE WITH DOOM V DOOM PUNCH INTERACTIONS. Doom's slam also still locks the camera way too fuckin early.
But yea doom isn't A tier. I'll give him B tier, but the amount of coordination you need to make this hero work and the fact you need a dive comp or he's useless. It's ladder ranked play, you aren't getting one of those in 70% of the matches. He's meh.
For me Zen is from S to A still stong against Tanks
I kinda feel bed for the people who play junk or hanzo multiple people that hate your character just because there only one thing that makes them viable and worst they have to wait give or take 2or 5 years for a rework
as someone who is still in the metal ranks (Diamond 4 on support currently, gold/plat in the other 2 roles)
Rein is bad down here as well LMAO
Exactly. Everyone already just mindlessly shoots the tank, now Rein is just awful because he falls over where before he could tank with his armor a little bit.
hope this comment gets more attention; rein is indeed the worst tank at all ranks
Yeah I never understand why they say Rein is good at the metal ranks.
I never felt there was a season in OW2 that Rein was being oppressive. From the perspective of a metal rank player, launch Mauga was oppressive. Orisa was very annoying to fight for a few seasons. But not Rein.
Maybe if Flats played Rein at metal ranks sure. But as a metal rank player, Rein is just another tank to me. Honestly barely seen him.
Hi, I'm down at Silver. He's not doing great down here either. Though that's largely a playstyle issue, as quite a few folks still want to just charge in and get pocketed. It don't work that way now with the DPS passive.
@@shaunchan5890from what I have seen from friends and stuff, it’s not that he is GOOD, it’s a comfort thing. Low metal rank players dont know what to do without a wall infront of them. Like in OW1 it was a lot of Rein Orisa, and in OW2 its… Rein… Orisa… wait a minute…
“Like Ana and some things” 😭🥰 ily karq
Moira and sigma is just good, they do everything pretty good
Sigma is the best pick on a couple of maps, that alone makes him very good. Moira is just stupid easy, + her ult charges are so fast in rush comps. Also, her dmg is kinda good now
"B tier because he can tank bust and lifesteal." Lifesteal that's also affected by the dps passive, tank-busting which has been removed from the game, and a size increase to bullets on a short ranged hero. Yeah *definitely* seems like B-tier material.
as a ana main... I'm crying
I'm still getting oneshot by Hook all the time, I don't get it
So double hitscan is no longer a weird comp then?
I really hope they can turn the season around for cowboy bebop
? Season is great, best the game has felt in years
@@bellasprout1579in a year.
@@bellasprout1579I will admit some changes especially to competitive are great, it's pretty subjective since the changes kinda swayed both ways
I counter most of A tier tanks including dva with mauga made it to GM as well
I cant remember the last game where I won with a doomfist unless it was a mirror match
Great Support players like KarQ are fantastic experts on meta analysis because they literally watch the whole fight from a backline, typically, and they can see the hero interactions happening real time when healing their team mates. They have also been responsible for many win conditions for the fight and often are combo’d with to execute most general fight actions.
I am a tank player, so I have a ‘feel’ for what works in terms of initiation and timing for kiting, but other than that, whatever the hell is going on behind me is a mystery 😂
So real
Im glad ana and illari are nerfed, as a cass and ball player I'd never thought I'd see the day they're both A+
Bring back old Sym with the locking beam. She’s just a worse Zarya right now and the old auto-lock beam in this meta would make her much more viable in close quarters engagements. She’d still be niche, but that could bring her back into the meta in a big way
yeah i dont like what theyve done to pharah and after falling off the map on lijian tower within 30seconds .. i dont see me playing pharah any time soon.
THANK YOU. Junk and Rein suuuuuuuck bad. Well discussed vid.
so with ana she can 1 burst tracer but everything has to go perfectly, because 175-5(sleep)-70(shot but you need full damage)-60(nade)-40(its now 40 melee damage)
The slow ticking of the damage (70) isn't fast enough before tracer is able to wake up and recall. Ana is getting a buff tmrw for nade from 60 -> 90 which now allows her to kill tracer fast enough
@@KarQ yeah thats why i said it has to go perfectly which realisticly it wont, but oooooh cant wait for the buff!
Appears the community might need your help on an issue. Are you aware of the bug that's preventing people from ranking up? I was at 99 percent in gold 3, won, received 1 percent for the win and remained in gold 3. Played the next game and lost and was reduced to 0 percent gold 3. There are several threads on the blizz forums describing this exact situation going back to the launch of season 9 yet I can't find any mention of the devs being aware or attempting to fix this.
Symm having to hit at least 3 orbs to kill a target is crazy bad for a dps. Her damage I don’t think is her issue. It’s the consistency in getting it off. I compared my orb accuracy with her before the projectile change and after. There was no difference. She doesn’t benefit from that change as much.
Her one upside is her lvl3 beam(if you can pull it off without dying) will shred tanks now with the dps passive
love how your D tier is the average silver team after my experiences :'D
i liked the split tier list! lame people cant handle their favorite hero getting criticized or being told that it's an easy hero or something i guess.
