Kit has a stable base and big handles. Food grade stainless steel. Looks good, will probably last forever.

I've always felt that a canteen and a canteen cup have a much more stable surface to sit in the fire or any uneven ground. Nice kit Wade !

love that canteen kit, the way it all fits so snug. I am checking out his website and i can't believe the price! Almost everything is one sale and good prices. The alcohol setup is so cool. Choices.
2Tiedup Hey buddy! Ya really great value right!? I like the deluxe kit in the bag because you can easily sling it over your shoulder on a day hike. Another way to use it is with a backpack. If you are tight on space just sling this in front like a chest rig, freeing space inside your pack.

Yea i'm really liking this kit. Any way you could weigh the whole thing? maybe weigh some of the parts too? He doesn't have weights on the website...but i know that bushcrafting doesn't normally care about weights but with so much cross-over now in the hiking community we love weights!
I know haha. Long distance I count grams, bushcraft not so much.

I have that canteen kit and it has been a solid performer for me. I like how when I molle attach it to the side of my bag it hugs closer to the bag and does not stick out as far as other bottles in a standard water bottle pouch. As far as the canteen format goes it is the best I have seen. Nice review.

I bought a similar kit from Pathfinder. Your carrier is a little upgrade. Nice to get alcohol stove and bottle. I bought cups and lids for 2 Nalgene canteens, too. Fits. BTW, the Keith titanium cup doesn't fit. Very well done review!

Some years ago now i traded some gear with an american soldier for a cup and stove just like the one you have, I only bought a pathfinder lid lid for it a few years back and in all those years ive had it i never used a trangia under it, never even give it a thought how mad is that! but I will have to give that a go now, Great kit hard to see how that set could let you down. Hi Wade, great vid again. I have been using this canteen and cup for 2 yrs now and love it. The stand /stove I do not use as it is a bit smallish and is unstable over an actual natural fire. I prefer using a plain grill. Take care bud.

any thoughts on making char cloth in the canteen or cup? does the lid fit tight enough on the cup to make char cloth?
I haven't tried it but I think the canteen cup would work. The lid is a decent tight fit. Great idea, let me know if you try it👍

Hey Buddy! Just going through some of your past videos, seeing what I've missed. I really like this canteen kit, trusting your skills really makes me confident with the product. My main concern is if the alcohol leaks while in the trangia or in the plastic carry bottle?
Hey Vance! Thanks for watching my friend I should have new content up soon! I worried about alcohol leaking out as well but it hasn't happened yet. There is a heavy duty rubber gasket that seems to be holding up very well. This canteen kit is still going strong btw!👍

I never trust the seal in the alcohol stoves. Best bottle I have found is the yellow Heat bottle. I save them and refill w/denatured alcohol. With that narrow neck it never falls over in my pack and the small opening ensures little if any splashing inside of the bottle.
