@leelaM its not abt dance ..and obviously..nobody is a perfect dancer .... bt wat lies in a performance ...is the courage, confidence and expression of how a dancer percieves a concept....
how is that U Say that u r a dancer and u criticize another dancer like that.....u could have used appropriate words and advice...which people would have loved to accept....bt sorry the way u commented and the freedom of speech u r taking an advantage of ..... is completely a negative image of ur side that shows either u r jealous that despite a good dancer u r not at this stage where we performed

@@ghumakkadvaishu look I know truth always hurts but she is pointing out only the facts. You cannot sugar coat the fact that the performance wasn't that great and make it into something it is not. She said what she saw and felt from your performance. If there dancers cared about the performance they would've danced with much more precision, coordination, dedication, grace etc. I am not a dancer myself but I don't need to be a dancer to tell that the performance was bad. When you are infornt of a crowd and you are presenting a piece of your culture to the world it is YOUR duty to make sure you have presented it appropriately. If not then it's natural to get these comments and therefore you should accept them. Why perform if you can't take in people's opinions? You are a performer. The audience are the judges. On a stage you are selling your talent to the audience. They may have taken time out of their busy schedules just invest on them and to watch these people perform-- and they are met with this!! It's unfair!. Therefore the audience has every right to say what they truly felt about the performance. I, myself,is not a dancer like I said so I can't give them any tips or advises because I'm not experienced in that field so what else should I say. This comment is not an insult but simply just the truth. If you can't accept truth then be gone!

Well the first three namely Kathak Odissi and Bharatnatyam are considered Traditional dances. The last one namely Lavani is considered as a Folk dance. There are 3-4 more Classical dances and several Folk dances

Colors of India, very nicely performed. But when you say folk that means state cultural dances... Like Lavani from Maharashtra.
Kathak, Odissi,Bharatanatyam are Indian Classical Dance forms they are technique based dance forms.
So you can say the cultural dance performance rather than saying Folk and generalizing all the dance forms. :)

Lavni culture of Maharashtra.lavni is very famous in Maharashtra.and we maharashtrian love to see lavni.and it's Maharashtra anybody talking bad about Marathi slap on that face .we maharashtrian are very good anybody say bad words to us then we are very bad.we have Mumbai Pune nashik nagpur rich cities. All are coming to Mumbai to earn there nobody saying to us because they knew that direct slap on face or out of Maharashtra .all states are like beggers coming to our maharashtra.no need of coming here in maharahtra .no need of dogs in our states.you are jeaouls of Marathi people.you don't know how marathis are fighting all teeth will break.for haters of Maharashtra be scared and you are our servants .marathis are king.they will only rule on you.jay Maharashtra

@@dhishmagrace6529 heh, the butthurt one showed up. First of all, I am a woman. Secondly, damn yes I am a dancer (a Bharatanatyam one). And thirdly, the whole show is pretty much average since it is obvious the dancers don't have a clue about classical dance, but many of the dances are acceptable. However, the Bharatanatyam they did is absolutely awful. Everything is wrong in it: the mudras, the posture, the movemens, and even the expression (and I am not talking about abhinaya, I am talking about the most basic corporal expression). I absolutely know they are not Bharatanatyam dancers (that is pretty obvious) but whoever taught them it did it so incredibly poorly that the Bharatanatyam is, by far, the worst part of the whole show. Damn it, I have seen a seven years old kid dance Bharatanatyam way better even though she had made the choreo herself!!!! There is absolutely no excuse for such a poor performance in that dance form, and people must understand that when you don't have a clue about something YOU JUST DON'T DO IT
@@Maatkara1000 haters are just gonna hate....I really must say that....and the saddest part is(if you say so) you absolutely don't know what it takes to appreciate someone... else without any self respect you wouldn't have jumped into the person who has put up the show.... trust me ... people like you actually can't do anything in life... that's why you aren't there on that stAge and it's just making you furious to leave such comments...
And yeah.... really sad to say... your guru hasn't taught you to appreciate ... very sadly .... that's why shamelessly you did that....
