The only major side effect I had was the dry skin (and even that wasn't too bad)... My oil production was back to normal within a few months, but without the acne. Everyone I know who's taken it (mom, sister, roommates) have all had minor side effects (dry skin/eyes/lips) that went away soon after stopping. Everyone is different and you may have to play around with the dosage, but no one I know personally has had any long-lasting negative side effects.
