He already knows who he is. I thought the same thing, say "you can't drink if you come". If he gets upset, baby can cry in a corner and think about what he's done. This is coming from experience of having a family member act the same way. You can't keep rewarding bad behaviour or it won't change, simple as that.

As a recovering alcoholic myself, natural consequences are the best teachers. Don't be afraid to tell him he can't come it's not your fault, it is his. Consequences like this may eventually cause him to get help. People don't change until they're in enough pain
