Top Rider..Top Guy.. I could listen to Freddie all day.
When I was 18 I spent a whole weeks wages on a Spencer replica Arai Supervent helmet, cost almost as much as my motorcycle!!! 😂 54 now and still my all time favourite colour scheme.
Watched fast Freddy do the double at Silverstone in the rain.
Guy was an alien at his peak.
Freddie Spencer is a guy who is very open and respectful with his fans. In all his interviews he is always smiling and seems to be happy. I read his book (and I strongly recommend it) and I was surprised how difficult personal moments he has lived. He has won in all aspects of live and has made friends all over the world. He is much more than a World Champion! Finally, as Simon points out, he is a great storyteller. Thank you Simon!
One of the most naturally talented racers ever. Would have loved to have seen a young Freddie racing against the likes of Rossi, Stoner, M Marquez at a similar age.
Love Freddies opening comments !!! Cool guy
A true gentleman and the greatest gp rider ever in my opinion.
Fast Freddy, what a treat, thank you for all those great years.
Freddie is still a Champion.
what a nice story-teller Freddie is, as well as an amazing rider thanks for sharing¡¡
Simon is brilliant
Awesome. Another good interview.
Q- You talk about your career without going into much bike detail. Like, you'll say "I went to Rumi..." but not mention the RC45. I'd love to hear you run through your career bike by bike including what you were up against and envied and hated. You rode through some important years for bike history as well as motorsport. Talk about the bikes please Si!?
I remember Jarama/Spain 1981 and 1982. And fight whith Kenny Roberts. Freddie Spencer win. Thank you for great race. Have a nice life and thankyou.
Oh wow. Through all these years I don't think I've seen such a relaxed & candid chat with 'Fast Freddie' . Mr. Spencer you are a gentleman.
What an awesome guy Freddie is.
best rider ever. he rode a 500 4 stroke against 2 strokes. he then rode a 3 cylinder against 4 cylinders and beat robberts. later a completelly wrong bike in 84, a failed expirement from honda. finally in 85 when he had a decent bike he competed in 2 categories and won both cause life cant be too easy... goat!!!!!
❤❤❤
Great new format for the channel. Keep it up!! Great job.
Always being a Honda fan growing up, Fast Freddie was just a natural to be my motorcycling hero and in my opinion the GOAT! No other rider in my eyes made winning look so easy, even on inferior equipment at times. Such a great personality for the sport, I'd love to see him on the modern bikes of today!
I remember building the models of kenny Barry and Freddie with my dad it was a special time for me RIP Dad
The goat.
I was over the moon when I spot Freddie Spencer at Sepang last year. He was my childhood hero and so happy to have a chat with him even just for few minutes. He is such a friendly person.
That he is. I got to meet him in Britain during his 84 season and stateside at Oak Hill Raceway.
I consider Freddie to be one of the GOAT if not the GOAT. Read his autobiography, which was great, he did not have success handed to him & has been through tough times. Wonderful to see him so well & telling great stories.
Oh wonderful 💕
That's crazy that he lives in England
Congratulations on this channel.
It was fantastic to see Freddie Spencer again.
I would like to ask a question related to Fabio Quartararo's 2019 season in MotoGP. In my opinion, the type of results he obtained as a rookie were only possible because he has Diego Gubellini as chief engineer, who is highly specialized in electronic engine management and motorcycle dynamics (he owns the Gripone brand, which manufactures traction control systems). I think that, if Valentino Rossi had such a track engineer, the results last season would be very different. What do you think about this and the role of track engineers in the overall results of the pilots, nowadays?
What an awesome guy👍
Hello Simon.....
Favorite rider Freddie Spencer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beautiful. Love Fast Freddie!
Freddie and Erv were both super nice guys, when combined they became fearsome!
The one hero I really wanted to meet and he's in London?!! and we're in lockdown?!! GAHHHHHHH!
Thank you, simon and freddie
Noooooooo!
Oh my goodness I had no idea that the absolutely talented and skilled racer Freddie Spencer would turn out to be a Class A statist. Holy fucking shit.
