I had the privilege to watch Freddie's last ride at Laguna Seca. Riding for fast by Ferrachi "Ducati". The race rained out Sunday and they ran it on Monday, one of about 200 people. 👍😁
I worked briefly with an engineer from Texas in my job about 10 years ago. We are both a few years older than Freddie Spencer and we got talking about sportbikes, turned out the guy was in a club race that Freddie was in when he was 15 or 16 years old. The guy said everyone there knew who Spencer was, and that he was at a completely different level from everyone else.
