Yeah it can do a good job of scanning a person. Might have to do a bit of cleanup of the model but this video briefly shows the results you can expect with some practice: ua-cam.com/video/CHXDEFT9WSY/v-deo.html printing it on your k1 printer would just be a mater of scaling it down in your mesh editor of choice(mesh mixer, blender, etc) or scaling it down directly in the slicer.
No bueno I'm afraid. That didn't work mainly because the device is black and it has a very hard time seeing black objects without a scanning spray. The tracking also does not understand how to interface with a mirror because my fingers got lost immediately by the tracking software.
Scan a hyper cube or the most difficult shapes the device can handle
